Mare Ayia Napa

We had a fantastic experience at the Estia restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was absolutely outstanding. A special mention to Adamos, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive. He truly went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome. Such a lovely person and a real credit to the restaurant! Also, a big thank you to Chef Antonis, Kostas, Antri, Dimitris, Ajay, Sujan, Dorga, Isha and David for making our experience so wonderful. You are all amazing! ❤️

A good massage but it was a bit too gentle :-)

Perfect massage. My mind went wandering and my body felt good

Lovely resort, large enough to spend a week & not get bored. App said the à la cartes were fully booked but guest services managed to get us into them no problem, the guest services were friendly & helpful. My son’s coeliac, met with head chef upon arrival to discuss - he could request options at all restaurants to be made for him which is great. Unfortunately 2nd day he ate gluten free pancakes which were either not gluten free or had been cross contaminated as my son was extremely poorly. Later that day spoke to the restaurant supervisor to inform, who reassured me he’ll speak to the chefs to remind them of the risks etc. The rest of the stay we were overly cautious. I asked a chef in the buffet for gluten free cake I saw him rinse his gloved hands with water, then use the same chopping board & knife that was out on the side - he was in the pastry section, safe to say I didn’t let him eat it. We had to ask a chef in the snack bar to change his gloves to avoid cross contamination. More awareness & training for allergies needs to happen!!!! Hate to compare but we stayed at Olympic Lagoon in June & this was the best place we’ve ever stayed for coeliacs, we’ve never felt to comfortable & reassured. Food in à la cartes were decent. Greek was the best & the service was the best we received. Snack bar was ideal for pool days with many options. Cocktails were really nice. Definitely recommend bungalow rooms as residences right right at the back in blocks. Our room was very spacious, loads of storage & a lovely patio area. One of the bigger rooms we’ve stayed in. Pools were nice but very cold, splash park was great suitable for range of ages. Beach was pretty & sea warm. Evening entertainment was pretty poor & the schedule showed activities going on but no one would be there. I’m putting this down to end of season? The main thing this hotel lacks is a personal touch from staff, there’s no small talk at all, I think this makes a huge difference - asking the kids names saying “morning …”, it’s the little things! Several times staff came across actually quite rude, again I’m unsure if this is down to end of season, but standards should be consistent. Would like to revisit in the height of the season to compare. Overall we would return as there is lots of plus’s but to make our stay more relaxing we would need to feel reassured with the food safety.

I wanted to relax and enjoy a grest masaj and the experience did not disappoint. It was great and Aristea was very friendly and professional, I recommend it.
