Tasia Maris Beach Hotel & SPA

This was the fifth time I have stayed at this hotel and just love everything about it. Great atmosphere ,very friendly , the staff can’t do enough for you. Always kept nice and clean. The food is excellent and always well presented With a wide range of choices. The location is perfect for beach lovers, a 20 minute walk to the centre of Ayia Napa. Larnaca airport 40 minutes away

Hotel is ok some staff not very friendly mainly to do with restaurant, no welcome pack in rooms , no Information, basically you have to ask and then made to feel stupid ! A couple of times this has happened to us on this trip ! Would not stay again ! Constantly going on line to find anything out !

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Money Unfortunately, our overall experience at this hotel was disappointing, and we left feeling that it did not offer good value for money. Rooms and Accommodation Our children stayed in room 208, which was quite small, while we stayed in room 6103, a swim-up room. The soundproofing was extremely poor, and we could hear conversations and noise from neighbouring rooms through the walls and doors. The karaoke bar could be heard until 2 am every night, making it difficult to get a decent night’s sleep. With sunbeds needing to be reserved early in the morning to secure the best spots in the sun, the lack of sleep quickly became exhausting. We also found the mattresses and pillows uncomfortably soft, which caused back discomfort during our stay. We had paid extra for a swim-up room, but unfortunately, this was not worth the additional cost. The pool was cold and appeared unclean, and we didn’t see anyone using it. Our room overlooked bushes, received very little sunshine for much of the day, and was affected by noise from surrounding rooms. Overall, the upgrade was a disappointment. On a positive note, room service was good, towels were plentiful, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job. Food and Drinks The food was disappointing, with many dishes tasting bland and not meeting our expectations. Not enough choice on evening meal. The drinks were also below the standard we anticipated from an all-inclusive hotel. The beer was flat, and the soft drinks tasted heavily diluted. There was little that felt premium about the all-inclusive drinks selection, and I was particularly surprised that bottled water was not included. Hotel Atmosphere The other guests were friendly, sociable and good fun, which contributed positively to the atmosphere. However, the amount of smoking throughout the hotel was unpleasant. Having visited other destinations this year, where hotels provided designated smoking and vaping areas, we were surprised that smoking appeared to be permitted in so many areas here. The persistent smell of smoke detracted from our enjoyment of the facilities. Staff and Entertainment The majority of the staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive. They genuinely seemed willing to go out of their way to help, and their service was one of the highlights of our stay. The evening entertainment was enjoyable, although each show lasted approximately 45 minutes, which felt rather short. Spa and Location The spa massage was an outstanding experience and one of the highlights of our holiday. The treatment was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable. The location is another strong point. Nissi Beach is beautiful and within easy walking distance, while Ayia Napa offers plenty of entertainment and a lively atmosphere. A taxi to Ayia Napa Square cost approximately €15. Final Verdict Although we appreciated the excellent housekeeping, the friendly staff, the enjoyable spa experience and the fantastic location, these positives were unfortunately outweighed by the negatives. Poor soundproofing, disturbed sleep, disappointing food and drinks, uncomfortable bedding and a swim-up room that did not justify the additional cost significantly affected our overall experience. For the price paid, we expected a much higher standard of accommodation and an all-inclusive experience that offered better quality and value. Sadly, this hotel did not meet our expectations, and we would not choose to return. Based on our experience, I would find it difficult to recommend it to others looking for a relaxing holiday with good-quality all-inclusive facilities. Get up early for best beds that actually get the sun the entire day On a plus side I won €200 on bingo Bar staff are the best The cats are friendly Activities coordinator young lass is adorable Demitri reminds me of the bar tender on Benidorm tv series haha I have to say it was our first time to Cyprus and probably be my last.

Hmmm Tough one where to start We are currently a week in to a 2 week stay i will say firstly that the staff are friendly but massive props to Dimitri the pool bar man a true assets to the hotel and if we had to come back it would be because of him. Our swim up room was very dissapointing considering the money it cost we are in the back ones, it gets no sun at all water is freezing cold almost unbearable at times only been in it once waste of money tbh The cleaners do an amazing jobs everytime in the room cant fault that but the rooms are dated lots of stains around tiles, lights not working above bed, curtains are stained badly very noticeable in the sun, not had a bottle of water refilled since we checked in so had to buy our own everyday, and just in general the hotel is tired needs some money spent on it it wants to stay at 4 star in my opinion Now onto the WORSE part of the hotel the food wow what a dissapointing experience that is first night we had a a roast!! I mean really a roast dinner when it was 29 degrees during the day, the breakfast and lunch is lovely but at dinner time its almost like they have given up food is bland, luke warm, very stodgy and a lot of stuff is repeated every night for example meat and gravy, pizza (undercooked), dessert have hardly an lables on so god knows what your getting, everything dinner wise is just meh bland, cold, stodgy mess tbh ive spent a fortune going out to eat in the last week already because the hotel food is horrendous we have one bite and leave and go out I think if I was to return it would purely be for the pool bar man Dimitri other then that I would not return, in overall we are disappointed
