Our eighth visit—and the Loutsiana still feels like home This was our eighth stay at the Loutsiana Hotel Apartments, although our first since 2019. After seven years away, it was lovely to return and find that the friendly, relaxed atmosphere we remembered had not changed. We stayed in Room 719, which was bright and spacious, with a comfortable bed, sofa, kitchenette, air conditioning and a pleasant patio where we enjoyed lunch, coffee and an evening nightcap. The Loutsiana may not have the grandeur of some of the newer hotels nearby, but that is exactly why we prefer it. It is smaller, quieter and has much more character. The pool area was clean and attractive, with plenty of sunbeds during our September stay. There were also some comfortable covered seating areas beside the pool. Naturally, the most popular beds were claimed early on some mornings, but we never failed to find somewhere suitable. Breakfast was included on this visit and offered a good selection of cooked food, cereals, bread, cheese and cold meats. The quality varied slightly from day to day, and the tea was not particularly memorable, but there was always enough choice to start the day well. The hotel restaurant and bar have the relaxed atmosphere of a traditional Cypriot taverna rather than a formal hotel dining room. We ate there several times and particularly enjoyed the Saturday barbecue. There was an excellent choice of freshly cooked meats, salads, pitta bread, dips and desserts, including several varieties of baklava. The regular drinks voucher—eight drinks for €29 during our stay—also represented reasonable value. Evening entertainment was provided on several nights and varied in quality, as hotel entertainment often does. One visiting cabaret couple, with singing, juggling, trumpets and hula hoops, gave one of the best hotel performances we have seen. Another singer was not quite to our taste, but you cannot please everyone. Our only practical warning concerns the walk-in shower. The tray is extremely shallow and has a loose plug. During one shower, the flowing water carried the plug back into the drain, causing the tray to overflow into the apartment. We would recommend removing the plug completely and placing it somewhere safely away from the shower. The location suited us very well. There is a supermarket nearby and a bus stop close to the hotel, making it easy and inexpensive to travel into Ayia Napa, the harbour, local beaches and the Sculpture Park. The hotel is far enough from the busiest part of Ayia Napa to remain peaceful. Reception was also helpful when our airport transfer was scheduled for 10.30 p.m. We were able to keep our room until 10.00 p.m. for €60. This allowed us to enjoy a final day beside the pool, shower, change and pack without spending twelve hours living out of our suitcases. For us, it was worth every cent. If you want a large luxury resort, the Loutsiana may not be for you. If you prefer somewhere friendly, comfortable and informal, with a pleasant pool and good transport links, it is an excellent choice. After eight visits, we would happily return again.

Called for a meal with my wife.... The food was terrible frozen chips .. frozen fish... Pork Kebab's were all fat absolutely disgusting never again....

Having been here about 7 times before we really had a lovely stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spotless and get cleaned every day. Pool was nice although at times a little busy but in August to be expected. Good location to explore. Booked again for 2027 but going in beginning of September this time. Would highly recommend this place.

It is a place we would happily come back to We had an amazing stay at Loutsiana Apartments and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cyprus. First of all, we would like to thank the fantastic housekeeping team and the restaurant staff. They are the people who take care of you from the beginning of your stay until the very end, and they truly made us feel at home. Everyone was kind, welcoming, hardworking, and always greeted us with a smile. The food was absolutely delicious every single day, with a great variety and excellent quality. Our room was always spotless, clean, and very well maintained. The entire hotel was cozy, relaxing, and had a warm, friendly atmosphere that made our holiday even more enjoyable. Another great advantage is the location. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel, making it very easy to travel around and explore the area without any hassle. The only small downside was that some guests still reserved the sun loungers by the pool early in the morning by leaving their towels on them, even when they were not using them. Of course, this is not the hotel's fault, but it is something we noticed. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily return.
