Marlita Hotel Apartments

I am extremely disappointed with the holiday I booked through Loveholidays. The hotel, facilities, food and entertainment were nothing like they were advertised on their website. Having paid almost £4,000 for a one-week all-inclusive holiday for myself and my two 15-year-old children, I expected a much higher standard. Instead, we found ourselves regularly eating and seeking entertainment away from the hotel, which cost us almost an additional £1,000 over the course of the week. When we arrived, we were shown to a room that was extremely dated and in poor condition. The sofa bed was simply an old sofa that was so uncomfortable it caused me significant back pain throughout the holiday. The television did not work, and the shower holder was loose and repeatedly fell out of the wall, meaning the shower had to be held by hand while in use. I requested a room change, but I was told the hotel was fully booked and no alternative accommodation was available. When putting away the clothes we found 3 old beach towels in the wardrobe obviously left by the last guests. The room was never made up and we had to continually go to reception to get clean bath towels The all-inclusive offering was also very misleading. The only restaurant on site was a buffet which was very small and poor. The advertised à la carte restaurants were not located within the hotel complex and instead required a 5-10 minute taxi journey, making them far less accessible than we had been led to believe. The evening entertainment was extremely poor and offered very little variety or quality, forcing us to leave the hotel on most evenings to find something suitable to do. While there were three members of staff who were friendly and helpful Gabriella, Ivan at the lobby bar and the blonde lady with glasses at the reception, the majority were rude, unwelcoming and unhelpful, which only added to our disappointment. Ajad at the pool bar was by far the worse totally disinterested in making an effort. Overall, the room, food, drinks, entertainment, facilities and customer service fell well below what was expected for the price paid. Although it is advertised as a three-star property, in my opinion it does not even meet that standard. They also had some weird practices like watering all the pathways and greens at around 19:00 every night which meant if you hadn't had a shower before you went out you would certainly get one as you go out, cutting grass with noisy lawnmowers and strimmers outside the block at 06:30 in the morning. Also from Friday night to Sunday night the local nightclub felt as if it was being held inside your room. This holiday represented extremely poor value for money. A cost of nearly £4,000 for one week was wholly unjustified given the quality of the accommodation and facilities. Based on our experience, I believe the holiday was worth considerably less. The one only plus point was the close proximity to the beach.

Dreadful hotel I cannot understand anyone that I have spoken to here saying anything different Positives .. the location is beautiful, the outside meals are part of your inclusive Mexican, Greek and Italian are lovely Negatives the most ignorant staff apart from a couple of staff .. the worst Ahad who works at the snap bar along with his other miserable staff. .. then you see Ahad in the evening entertainment bar who obviously cannot stand holiday guests .. rude , disrespectful miserable man Food … the worst options the smallest all inclusive restaurant I have ever had in a hotel …. touch and go occasionally ate something decent but started out out a lot more to eat because it was all so miserable Rooms .. I was block c . Dated room bedroom and bathroom ok .. kitchen terrible old fashioned … friend was staying in block E awful .. so dated and in bad condition Entertainment… The worst ever .. a never ending kids disco .. show at night ? There is none appalling .. again they don’t wasn’t their quests to have a good time they want your money but do not provide any holiday experience for their guests I paid £5100 for 2 weeks stay and it’s by far the worst hotel !!! They care nothing for their guests .. unprofessional, no service appalling place and wouldnt return for free
