Bluesun Hotel Soline

My partner and I had a wonderful relaxing week’s holiday staying at the Bluesun Hotel on a bed & breakfast board basis. The hotel itself has a great location with fine gravel beaches that are excellent for snorkelling right on its doorstep, less than 5 minutes walk. The hotel is well equipped with a decent gym and wellness spa centre that we had use of during our stay (treatments are extra of course). The room was comfortable and the right size for the two of us, with a large and comfortable king bed, decent shower and a sea view balcony. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and because we filled up on breakfast we didn’t need and just had dinner in the evenings in the local restaurants in Brela - many of which only accept cash. All the hotel staff were helpful, friendly and hard working, so we’re really grateful to them for how they made this a great holiday for us both. Other reviewers might comment on some of the things that I consider to be cosmetic and minor. Things like some of the walls having marks on them or bits of the hotel being tired. The way I see it is that we went at the end of the season (probably a better time to go than high season) and what we appreciated more was that we had a great time, so who cares about a few cosmetic minors issues where the hotel isn’t pristine? If you want bling go to Dubai. Me, I just want to go somewhere with a good bed, shower and breakfast where we can relax by a pool or beach, have a drink and read a few books and just chill. This hotel was absolutely perfect for that. I’d go back again tomorrow.

Absolutely lovely hotel, the staff are wonderful. The food is plentiful, the rooms are perfect and spotless. Brela is amazing. We will absolutely be back.

The hotel is right on the water, good room, the surroundings are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly. From start to finish, everything was great.

Magnificent striking hotel (think Frank Lloyd Wright- Falling Water) next to the beach. Everything is scrupulously clean as I pay particular attention to cleanliness throughout. The food offer is very good and we had no queues to worry about given we visited 6-13th September on half board. We visited the restaurant an hour in to service. Staff were friendly through out. It was though, the hotel building itself, where the industrial style bar and seating was so striking that I loved most about this hotel. We had entertainment ( music/band) every evening and the musicians were excellent. Had a fabulous stay to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary.

Unbelievable loud and bad disco music from the other side of the beach . You can’t sleep with open windows. It’s so hard that a building is shaking. The reception is unavailable by phone to ask when will be the party over?? Very disappointing!
