Hotel Plaza Omis

The location of this Hotel is amazing. Right on the sandy beach and 5 minute walk into Omis itself which is stunning. The bedrooms are very spacious and OMG the bathroom is massive with a corner bath with built in seat and moveable shower head. We were on the top floor and paid extra for a full sea view which was incredible. Balcony quite large. The hotel is spotless abd extremely clean Buffet dining room is very spacious. There is an inside area or a very large area in sepate room. This area has all glass sliding doors all around but has a proper roof with lighting. We ate in this area most nights it was very spacious and there are many tables just for 2. The staff are very attentive and fill the food containers up very quickly so they are never empty. Now onto the food itself. It was the best we've ever had. Even better than Fred Olsen cruise ships and thats defo a complement. There was the widest choice of any hotel we've ever been in and it was all goreous. There was always pizza and chips which were lovely and the kids would be very happy with that. E very evening there was some form of pasta dish and about 5 meat dishes in some sort of sauce and there was always a fish dish to choose from. The sweets were the best we've ever had. Massive slices of gorgeous cheesecake or lots of other sweets to chose from. The breakfast was just as good. A cooked breakfast or anything else you chose. The coffee machine was really good with delicious coffee and many choices. Never any queues either. We loved sitting in the outside area with our coffee every morning which some people also eat their breakfasts out there as well. Omis itself is a gorgeous place. We especially loved the boats up the river which we went in 4 times. The scenery is amazing and we stopped of at an old watermill for refreshments which was a lovely place to have a drink and snacks. The boat trip qas 10 euros each which was very reasonable. We had 50 mins at the mill to have drink and snack There are lots of lovely beach bars in the area. We loved the beach bar 7 and the cocktails there were gorgeous We also walked to the other beach bar fortica which was a lovely walk to get there. Just had to walk by the road on the path a tiny bit otherwise it's all walking by the sea front to get there. That bar has a lovely chilled atmosphere Altogether our stay in this hotel was amazing and we had a lovely holiday and I would defo recommend it to anyone.

The location is perfect. Right on the beach, close to shops and restaurants (and there are plenty). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and bountiful. We had a balcony overlooking the water which was a perfect to relax with a glass of wine after a day at the beach. And the WATER!!! Crystal clear and warm. I could stay here forever!

I must have been very spoiled as we stayed at the aister hotel Plaza Duce last year. Strangely enough, both rated 4 star, yet the Plaza Duce is massively better than Plaza Omis. The Omis is less expensive and only being here a few days, i could see why from the moment we arrived. The smiles and amazing hospitality we were greeted with at Duce, just wasn't there at Omis. Maybe my expectations were a but high after staying at Plaza Duce, but both 4 star rated, i kind of expeted the same. Last year we were greeted by smiling friendly staff, even taken to our room and our cases. Smart TV, hot food, friendly staff, waitresses and bar, double wash basin luxury bathroom, electric curtains! It was stunning!! Even the beach bar and beach swings. Omis, public beach, a tiny balcony, half the size, no USB sockets, no iron in room, no smile, small windows disguised as big with wide curtains that cover the wall. Unpredictable shower, and barely hot food. Location is good but just a direct 10 min bus ride from Duce to Omis. How they are 4 star? But different leagues.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. We are a group of friends visiting for a long weekend-3 nights. We found a deal online and had no expectations. The hotel was clean with lovely rooms, the hotel had amazing facilities-recomend the rooftop hottub, the food (we had breakfast and dinner included) was varied and delicious. The staff were absolutely amazing and couldn't do enough for us. The location was perfect, right by the beach (sandy, no stones)clear, great for swimming, with lots of beach bars and with a beautiful little town to explore too. Excellent holiday, little gem.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at Hotel Plaza Omiš. Right on the beach, with atmospheric beach bars, beautiful shallow sea, and a play area for children. Minutes from the Old Town. Food was delicious with a good selection for a small buffet (we were half board). Staff in the hotel were so friendly and could not do enough for you. Rooms were comfortable and spacious, and impeccably clean. Would definitely return!
