TUI BLUE Adriatic Beach

1st time I’ve ever booked a TUI holiday, based on the food, service, and charges at TUI BLUE Adriatic Beach, I will never do that again!!! Beautiful location, stunning, and highly recommended Croatia and the Dalmatian coast. This hotel is no way a 4 star plus, the food is a buffet style, with a repetitive limited choice, the juice is the powdered stuff mixed, tastes like cheap squash, the coffee machines, if you like your coffee in the morning 🤮, other proper coffee machine near restaurant, out of order sticker on it for the week we where there. The actual food is horrible in appearance, and tastes worse than it looks.. it is not fresh or local as TUI claim, because we ate in a restaurant a walk along the beach path road Lunga Mare, absolutely delicious!! Lots of fresh fish, seafood, etc. TUI should be ashamed of the quality of food and drink at this hotel ! We made the mistake of going to the BBQ night, really don’t bother been to better BBQS at Vegans against BBQs, charge €25.00 a head, to take you in there minibus to the TUI hotel in Igrane, which is a 25 min walk, no where near actual Makarska. Also look out for €8.00 a day charge for the beach! Again this is not an all inclusive hotel. Beach bar closed while we were there, have to walk up to pool bar for a horrible drink, better to pay for one. We stayed in Dusk part of the hotel, our room was lovely, clean and housekeeping were lovely and friendly. Carpets along corridors all stained, all fire doors rusted and left open, fire extinguisher just on the floor, broken mirror in elevator stuck back on with tape, broken water stations, over looking car park and noise of bins being emptied at 7 am woke us up . 4 star plus, no way on earth . Look out for some of the hotel staff as a smile is far to much for them, let alone anything else… queue at decent coffee machine near reception at least 12 deep most days with one person working… I could go on… really don’t book this place it’s not worth it.

This will be very short and swift, we are 9 day into a 10 night stay. The hotel room (junior suite) facilities and staff are all superb. What lets this hotel down is the food, not good quality and always not hot. What made me write this review was last night 21/09 we went down for dinner, one of the dishes was beef chow mein, this consisted of vegetables, sauce and believe it or not a chopped up beef burger from the previous day lunch. We have used Tui and Tui Blue numerous times but never again if they can let there standards fall this low

TUI Blue Adriatic Beach Review (Adults Only) My wife and I (Rossi) stayed at the TUI Blue Adriatic Beach Hotel from 7 to 14 September 2026. We completed our pre-arrival check-in through the TUI app, as advised. Our flights were on time, the transfer was straightforward, and the coach journey to the hotel took around two hours. On arrival, guests were offered welcome drinks and given TUI wristbands to wear during their stay. Our room had a swim-up pool on the balcony, which was amazing. The hotel buffet was fantastic, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Our waistlines certainly paid the price — but we didn’t mind! The weather was perfect, staying between 30 and 32 degrees. The à la carte restaurant was available for only one night during our stay, so it is worth booking as early as possible. The beach was also beautiful, with calm, clear water. However, beach shoes are recommended because the beach is mainly pebbles rather than sand. There is also a bar available for guests in the evening. The staff were excellent throughout our stay: helpful, accommodating, friendly, and courteous. There was no iron or ironing board in our room, but after we asked at reception, both were brought up promptly, which was impressive. The buffet food was excellent, especially the dessert section — hats off to the chefs! The dining room staff cleared plates quickly and were absolutely lovely. Water fountains were located throughout the hotel, making it easy to refill bottles. The tap water in the rooms was safe to drink. Bottled water could be a little pricey, so it is best to buy one bottle first and refill it as needed. Our room was cleaned every two days, with fresh towels provided. I will return to this hotel if we visit Croatia again. Olive Oil Museum and Krka National Park and Waterfalls Tour We also went on the Olive Oil Museum and Krka National Park and Waterfalls Tour. We booked the trip in advance through the TUI app and paid £190 for both of us, which included transport, a guide, and admission fees. The museum was well worth visiting. We learned about the history of olive oil production, toured the factory area, and then visited the shop, where olive oil and other local products were available to buy. Afterwards, we continued to Krka National Park, where we had three hours to explore, eat, have refreshments, and take photos. Be prepared for plenty of walking and wear comfortable shoes and a hat. There are also many stairs and steps to climb.

Our first time in Croatia we was really looking forward to it. We knew what to expect in terms of location that there is very little around. The room was lovely and probably the best swim up rooms we have stayed in so far and also very clean,let me tell you the sunset from this hotel is just out of this world, but be warned if you stay in rooms 3006-3010 expect to hear a constant humming especially at night time from the pool room. The restaurant food and bar offering is pretty poor for a 4 star Blue hotel. The lager is weak and only have 1 offering, cocktails are poor with most being chargeable. The food is the same, a pizza/pasta followed by some form of rice or couscous/risotto and some pork in a sauce or dry chicken. Breakfast was probably the better meals of the day. The à la carte menu was ok. Ordered the steak, bit bland served on some rocket and bit of dressing with nothing else. The entertainment is ok. Nothing crazy very chill. There are some really friendly restaurant staff and reception staff. This is a place for total chill relaxation! As long as you have that mindset you’ll be just fine!

From start to finish we were made welcome, food amazing. Staff couldnt do enough for us. Rooms cleaned everyday. Only one thing was charged for certain spirits such as Bailey and Pink Gin
