Valamar Meteor Hotel

Everything was great, the highlight is the staff of activities team💕🩵 they made our stay!

The hotel is superbly located on the beachfront, within easy walking distance of shops, bars, and a wide selection of cafés and restaurants. The communal areas were clean, bright, and welcoming, creating an excellent first impression. Every member of staff was friendly, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. The buffet breakfast was beautifully presented, with an impressive variety of fresh, well-cooked, and delicious options to suit all tastes. Our room, located on the top floor, offered a wonderful ocean view, which was a real highlight. Although the room was spotlessly clean, it was quite small and narrow in layout. The floor-standing air conditioning unit was not particularly efficient, which made the room less comfortable at times. Housekeeping arrived early each morning and maintained the room to an exceptionally high standard, ensuring it was always clean, tidy, and well presented. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel’s outstanding location, excellent staff, and high standards of cleanliness more than compensated for the relatively small room and underperforming air conditioning.

Overall, the hotel is pleasant, and we had a nice stay. The food is delicious and plentiful, although the breakfast becomes a bit repetitive after a few days. The atmosphere is great, which definitely adds to the experience. However, the hotel feels somewhat dated. Apart from the wellness area, most of the property has not been renovated. The room doors do not close properly, and the bathrooms could be cleaned more thoroughly. The cocktails at the bar are also inconsistent and not of the quality you would expect from a hotel in this price range. The biggest disappointment was that some of the sun loungers have to be paid for separately. This is not explained at check-in, so guests naturally assume they are included. Only after you settle down does someone come to collect an additional fee of around €30. Considering that the hotel is already quite expensive and has several shortcomings that guests are generally willing to overlook, this extra charge feels unnecessary and leaves a negative impression. Despite these issues, we enjoyed the overall atmosphere and had a pleasant holiday.

One of the best places I’ve been too! The location is perfect right on the beach, the atmosphere was great everyone was happy and having a good time! The room was perfect for us 2 adults and 2 year old, so had a travel cot in with us and still enough room for us, room was clean and had a great view! Good value for money. Noice level was very good and low considering your in the beach front and there are also people walking up and down the promenade. Services was amazing everyone at the hotel was amazing and very helpful always happy to help and always had a smile on their faces! Amenities was very good something for everyone one had a kids disco nearly every night bar Sunday which my son loved and for adults had a live singer was so perfect. P.s want to say again a massive thank you to everyone one who worked at valam metro hotel, thank you for helping out with my proposal, everything you did you help my partner make it the most perfect day of my life. I will never forget and will be back!!

Very friendly ,helpful staff nothing to much trouble . Food was good breakfast and evening meal all very delicious . My best bit was the spa found the staff all very friendly ,helpful and massage was great . The spa is amazing clean and very modern with every thing you would rate higher than platinum top David Lloyd club . Just hope they don't ruin it and let kids in it .As it was so peaceful and relaxing . Well done for money a great hotel
