Amadria Park Hotel Andrija

From the security checkpoint at the entrance (this employee arguably has the best smile in Croatia) to the front desk (very professional), restaurant, and bar teams, everything has been truly wonderful. The entire staff is welcoming, polite, and helpful. The Aquapark is well-maintained, clean, and a lot of fun. We had a great stay and will definitely be back.

We had a great time, above our expectations. We went with our three 1 yr old babies and our 7 yr old daugther who have had the best time at pool area and playrooms. The food was great and accomodation and al ltogether common areas were exceptionally clean, but what we liked the most is the staff, very very kind and friendly. We absolutely recommend the place.

Hotel Andrija at the Amadria Park Šibenik Resort delivered a genuinely outstanding experience for families. From the first day, the atmosphere was organized, friendly, and stress-free. Even with a high number of visitors, the coordination across activities, dining, and services was seamless—there was always enough staff, and we never felt rushed, inconvenienced, or waiting for anything. The kids’ facilities were a highlight. The entertainment team and the playroom staff were especially attentive, engaged, and kind, creating a great environment for children throughout the day. The wellness amenities for adults were exceptional as well—beautiful, relaxing, and surprisingly comprehensive for a family-oriented hotel. Food quality was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options at every meal. The resort offers plenty to do, and everything felt well-managed and thoughtfully planned, making the overall experience enjoyable for both kids and adults. We left highly impressed and would happily return. A great choice for families seeking comfort, quality, and a well-run resort experience.

We stayed at this hotel from January 1st to January 5th, in room 239. I mention the room number so that the hotel staff knows who this review comes from. The hotel is presented as family-friendly, however during the colder season it is not comfortable for families with children. To reach the swimming pool, guests must go outside and walk to a neighboring building in the cold. After being in a warm pool, children have to go outdoors while still wet and overheated, which creates a real risk of getting sick. We came to relax, not to worry about health issues. Another issue also concerns children. The hotel has animators, but during our stay we repeatedly noticed that they stood in groups talking for 20–30 minutes or sitting on their phones, without actively engaging with the children. Even when it was clear that guests were watching them, the behavior did not change. We have stayed in many hotels around the world, and this is the first time we have seen such an approach from animation staff. The children’s menu in the restaurant is very limited, and during the five days of our stay it did not change at all. In general, the food variety is very poor, both for children and for adults. Room cleaning was mostly symbolic — the bed was made, but that was essentially all. Trash from the room was removed only on the third day of our stay. Because we were traveling with a small child, used diapers caused an unpleasant smell in the room for several days, and the trash was only taken out after we placed the bin in the middle of the room to draw attention to the issue. Sound insulation in the rooms is virtually nonexistent. We have a small child, and on several evenings it took a long time to put the child to sleep because a neighboring guest could be clearly heard laughing loudly and talking late into the night, for three days in a row. There were a few other minor issues, but we believe the points above are sufficient to give an objective picture. Overall rating: a stretched 3 out of 5.

I want to be fair and state that the rooms (following our €180 paid upgrade), the food, and the cleanliness are all high-quality. The restaurant staff is friendly and beyond reproach. However, the reason for my low rating is the shockingly poor treatment of loyal guests by the management. Despite this being our second stay at the hotel this year, we hit a wall of bureaucracy on our departure day. Because of one hour of swimming in an empty pool, my children left the hotel in tears. The management blindly stuck to "package rules," completely ignoring our loyalty and the additional costs we had incurred. What disgusted me the most was the duplicity in their subsequent correspondence: After I posted my review, the hotel responded publicly in a very polite manner, expressing regret over the "children’s dissatisfaction" and promising to work on their flexibility. However, at the very same time, they sent me a private email coldly defending their rigidity and lecturing me on "responsible conduct." It is unbelievable that the management of a "Kids Hotel" allows itself such manipulation—showing one face to the public on Google for PR purposes, while showing a cold, bureaucratic face directly to the guest. This level of hypocrisy is insulting. (The two attached images show the public response versus the direct email I received). If you are looking for a hotel where a child's smile is more important than bureaucracy and where management communication is honest, I suggest you look elsewhere.
