Amadria Park Hotel Jure

Good rooms, excellent service. Great party vibes. Lovely beaches and many options to choose from. Nice selection of activities too.

Awesome location, high class, friendly service.

Lets start with the positive. It's a beautiful location and the hotel rooms are very clean and the grounds are really beautiful. The food at the buffets is pretty good compared to others in the same price bracket but they need to sort out the queues for the coffee machines in the morning. The above enabled us to have a nice holiday but the low rating I have given reflects the issues below. 1) No balcony. This was an error from TUI in the description (website since rectified). 2) Exploding hairdyer - the cheap hairdryer in the room sparked when my wife was drying my young daughter's hair. Medical attention was not required but it has left a mark on her hand and it was sore at the time. When we informed reception we were offered a new hairdryer. I was pretty angry and said we were going for dinner but the manager really should approach us? The receptionist caught up with us at the dining room and offered free drinks. I never heard from the manager. 3) Phone in the room didn't work but was rectified. 4) Surly staff. We had some great staff at the hotel. The receptionist Josepa (I think) was really professional and friendly and the cleaning staff were so good at heir jobs. Well done!. Aleksandre on reception was dismissive and rude most of the time and the bar manager/staff were truly awful. Had a Bailey's one night and it had curdled and left solid bits on the glass. The bar manager just shrugged. The towel guys at the pool are sometimes there and sometimes not, leaving you to wait for towels and returning towels. When you return them they make you put them in the cage yourself! 5) Corporate slant. While we were there there were several work conferences that closed the restaurants and filled the pools. You won't be told when you book so be careful. They even close the hotel in September for one company that takes over the whole park. 6) A la Carte restaurant booking. We booked the Trattoria via the Hotel Jure system only to arrive to be told no booking due one of the work conferences taking over the whole restaurant that evening, We booked another night for something similar to happen. When we finally got in there to eat it was excellent! This my first time in Croatia and it was a lovely place (Krka and Sibenik were highlights) but the hotel could be so much better if they really focussed in on the most important thing. The customer! (Recent reviews appear to be from the one large company that charter the whole park in September)
