Overall it was a nice experience. The Hotel offers good value for money with big, cosy and clean rooms, many different pools, playroom and park for the youngest and really good breakfast and dinner options in the Hotel restaurant. The beach is literally in front of the hotel which is cool. The only issues we had was that there are only 2 elevators due to which the wait is long and they are almost always crowded. When you need to change floors while carrying a lot of things (such as when checking in or checking out, bringing all your bags) it's a real challenge to find and elevator with enough room. The other issue was with the Sky Restaurant on the 10th floor. We had a 10% voucher given to us on reception which we showed to the waiter upon our arrival, and he noted it. During our lunch there was a change of staff and the other waiter gave us a check with full price, and after our complaint he did nothing and we had to pay full price. Also, they charged us for some starters which they just brought to our table without us ordering it and even withouth asking if we wanted it, so naturally we thought it's a welcome bite, so it felt weird that it was charged - a bit pathetic to give something to someone and then charge it.

Olympia Sky is a beautiful and very clean hotel. Everything is well organized and taken care of. When the restaurant became less busy, the dining area was divided into smaller sections, which created a much more pleasant and cozy atmosphere. The rooms are exactly as shown in the photos, with a beautiful view of the sea and the town of Vodice. During the first week of our stay, by around 11:00 a.m. there were hardly any towels reserving sunbeds. In the second week there were a few more, but nowhere near as many as you often see at other hotels. The food was different every day, with no repetitive pattern during our two-week stay. Some of us are quite picky eaters, but there was always something everyone enjoyed. I would also like to give a special thank you to Bruno for his excellent service in the restaurant! The hotel recommends Best Car for car rental, and that experience was excellent as well. It was also very convenient that we could safely park the rental car on the hotel premises. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Like the title suggests, we had a pretty ‘average’ (at best) stay here… We had booked a room on Secret Escapes so instead of being over £300 a night half board we paid around £175 a night which, to be honest, is still too much in my opinion… The room is OK, no frills despite being a ‘superior double’ (with a sea view). We were on the 8th floor so did get a decent sea view and the balcony was big but seating uncomfortable with basic chairs and a small table rather than loungers. The infinity pool on the 9th floor looked nice but was very cold. The main pool was ok with plenty of seating and loungers and not busy at all when we stayed in early June. Breakfast was pretty good with everything you would imagine including cereals / pancakes / waffles / cooked food / cakes / cheese etc etc. Staff were typically not particularly friendly we found (except Bruno in the restaurant who definitely was (and funny). The dining room lacks any kind of atmosphere and generally the dinner each night was pretty underwhelming / mediocre / not the hottest / a fairly joyless experience. Oh, and we asked for an iron to borrow and were told they don’t have any to lend and we’d have to use their very expensive laundry service… what sort of hotel doesn’t provide an iron! This could be a good hotel but they need to focus on the service and the services provided!
