Matilde Beach Resort

The location is great, the resort has a lovely pool area, exercise area, kids play area , and a gate straight out onto a lively stretch of beach (where they also have loungers for the resort guests to use) There is a chilled vibe with cool bars and eateries right on the doorstep although I believe Vodice is winding down towards the end of the season in September as a few bars along the beach were closed. The rooms a clean and spacious with a living room, dining area, kitchenette and bedroom leading onto a balcony. There was shower gel in bathroom, a kettle and plenty of glasses, cups and kitchenware. We arrived late at night and the staff hand kindly put some of the lights on with music on the TV . The only let down is that there wasn't a hairdryer (I beleive from other reviews that you can request from reception but didn't actually see this in any of the info packs and i managed to go without) The breakfast was fresh and nice, with a selection of local dishes , salad, meats, cereal, fruit tea, coffee and pancakes. Overall a great stay, the staff were friendly and helpful and the only let down was that the pool bar was closed for the whole of our holiday.Also those driving to the resort should be aware that there is daily parking charge.

We had a wonderful stay overall. The location was perfect, and the hotel itself was lovely, exceptionally clean, and had an amazing pool area. The only area for improvement is the breakfast buffet. The selection was quite limited, featuring the exact same single variety of cheese and ham every day. A bit more daily variety would make this hotel absolutely perfect!

We had a really nice stay at Matilde Beach resort. The beds were so comfortable and the view was beautiful. Everyone was so nice and polite to us. From receptionist Petra to restaurant stuff Hanna and Anđala and all the housekeeping stuff. They smiled and were really helpful in every matter. The only thing we missed was that the housekeeping washed the dishes in the apartment as well. But we enjoyed the stay and we are definitely coming back!

Spent a week in this resort and although the location and facilities are very good , the high point was the excellent staff that work there. From Aldianna in the restaurant, the housekeeping staff and Ana, Mare and Stipe at the front of house, you were exceptional in your treatment of guests. Thank you very much for all your kindness.

Great resort. Very nice atmosphere. Great place for family vacation, Great pool and breakfast buffet included, with large choice of food. Cleaning staff are lovely and friendly people with daily service. Few meters to the beach with nice bars and restaurants.
