Hotel Croatia

We stayed on half board from 11th to 18th June I had requested a deluxe room on a high floor and was delighted with room 908 and the views. In advance I had asked the concierge lots of questions and pleased with their prompt and efficient response. On arrival Antonie welcomed us very professionally and checked us in and all the reception staff were very helpful during our stay. The room cleaning and housekeeping was excellent, and we were impressed with their efficiency as our room always cleaned whilst we were at breakfast. The pool area was always clean and the towel staff and the bar staff were very pleasant and helpful We loved the spacious dining room and the opportunity to eat outside on the terrace, and we were always welcomed warmly by the maître de and able to find a table. The standard of the breakfast was excellent, and the waiting staff were very attentive, and we were particularly impressed with Mark who always served us out on the terrace, and he was always smiling and welcoming. The evening meals were not quite as good as we hoped, and I know lots of guests have commented on this. However, we always found something to our liking and especially liked the ice cream selection. Evening entertainment was quite poor and because of the conference running at the time, the music seemed to be from the upper floor and not in the Piano bar as we expected. However, lots of guests chose to spend the evening away from the hotel so I guess the numbers seeking entertainment in the hotel were limited. Plus with the World Cup on, many chose to watch in local bars although the hotel was showing the games We will certainly return to this hotel, having also stayed at the sister hotel Kompass in Lapad but felt Cavtat offered a better experience and was calmer

Very well managed hotel. Staff impeccable, very friendly and helpful. Spotlessly clean room, modern, fresh decor, comfortable bed with very efficient aircon. Nice atmosphere in hotel reception, bar and restaurant. Standard breakfast buffet food in hotel, hence the 4 stars. Pool area busy/compact, no visible management by hotel to clear towels off beds with no people on them. A poolside drinks service would’ve been nice. Options to swim in sea from rocks or jetty, access via steep steps. Beautiful views over Cavtat. Good choice of restaurants in Cavtat, very friendly staff. Boat taxi in to Dubrovnik is easy and well worth the money. It stops off in Mlini where there is option to walk in to sea for swim. Cavtat is close to airport which makes it a short transfer time and good for plane spotting. Overall a very enjoyable holiday and good value for money, I’d say a 4 star experience for a 4 star price.

The dining staff are worked off their feet! It's here you understand shift work! All staff do a great job! We were here last year, back this, thankfully for golf carts to town as we're both older!

This was our 2nd time staying in Hotel Croatia, we're both Independent travel agents and the staff, the facilities, everything about our expectations and experience was 10/10. This is our go to place because we know that we will always receive the best treatment. The hotel is closed to everything and the staff are just so friendly and attentive. I can't wait to come back for a third stay. Thank you 🙏

This is our 4 th visit to Hotel Croatia. We absolutely love it . The rooms are excellent with beautiful sea and island views. Breakfast is very good although,I have to say that the evening meals can be slightly disappointing with lack of choice. There is a distinct lack of evening vibes. Limited entertainment
