Definitely not a 5* more like a generous 4*!!! Avoid half board if you are vegetarian!!!! The rooms are spacious, initially clean, pleasant and modern. We were only here for 5nights but noticed house keeping did not sweep the floors so the floors quickly became dirty, few ants in the room and you can tell the edges were not sweeped as you could see cobwebs. As a lady when styling your hair there is hair fall out but this was not sweeped up by housekeeping!!! As a vegetarian this hotel was not accommodating. The breakfast was standard and manageable. The dinner options with half board were appalling!! You say you are vegetarian and the staff look at you like you are speaking a different language then they ask if you eat meat or fish??? They think creamy spinach and grilled veg is appropriate for a veg dinner option the only thing they could make was pasta. The pool area is very nice but hard to find a sunbed in peak season. The pool restaurant is good with stunning views. The massages are amazing and definitely a must!! They have a buggy service to take you down to the main promenade as the hotel is up the hills- this was a god send but there is only 1 buggy who can take a max 5guests so you can imagine during peak times it can be fustrating. Overall, the staff are pleasant, the location is superb and ambience is great. Not bad for 5nights but definitely not 5* and poor for vegetarians!

I will start with a positive buggy service up and down the hill was great but busy and the Hotel staff were very friendly. The breakfast was ok cannot say that it was 5 star however. Pool small for size of hotel had wobbly rail and loose tiles. Its surrounded by trees so after any wind the pine needles and cones fall in pool and all over you as you lounge. Orientation was not provided and this place is massive. Private beech had great views but hard to get sun-beds actually in the sun. Housekeeping was our main issue which we raised on numerous occasions direct with front desk. We did not get clean towels for three days we had to ask for new towels. Floors were never cleaned in week we stayed and beds were not made on one occasion. Chocolates were however provided every day. I really was not bothered about them wld have preferred a clean towel. They were provided on request but really dont think in a 5 star hotel you should have to phone to get basics like this. My daughter found an item of clothing under her bed that was not hers which made us question if floors had been done at all prior to our stay. On the final evening cleaners had been in and taken shampoo so i again had to call and get some more again just basics . Carpet’s in communal areas were quite stained and some exterior areas looked shabby and in need of maintenance. This hotel had three lifts to 10 floors 1 of which was out of order for our entire visit . Each lifts capacity was about 7 people . As you can imagine waiting times for these was insane. We ate at two of the restaurants whilst food was ok it was pricey. The hotel is in a stunning setting with views over to Cavtat this does not however warrant a 5star rating

Our stay at the hotel was amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We had a room with a beautiful sea view, which made our stay even more special. Despite being a very large hotel, it never felt overcrowded because there were so many different areas where you could sit, relax, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We spent most of our days on the beach by the hotel, which was one of the highlights of our holiday. The only downside came towards the end of our stay when the hotel became busier. We found it much harder to get a sun lounger because many guests were reserving them with towels early in the morning & some didn’t come & sit on them until about 11am . In this time there was plenty of people coming down & didn’t get a lounger due to most having towels on but no people until later which was sad. We always went to the beach after breakfast, around 8:30 am, and stayed there for the day, but during our last three days it became increasingly difficult to find available loungers. Restaurants were a short walk away & all very nice .

Our first holiday together and what a great place to stay! Hotel was lovely, it was my partner’s birthday during our stay and they made a special effort on our arrival and the day itself which was so appreciated. The best thing about this hotel though are the staff, really lovely, friendly and super helpful. Great team!!

Although this is advertised as a 5-star hotel, the service doesn’t consistently reflect that standard. The biggest issue was the daily sunbed wars there simply aren’t enough facilities for the number of guests. People reserve sunbeds early in the morning, and there appears to be no enforcement of this policy. To make matters worse, many guests leave hotel towels on sunbeds for hours after they’ve gone, making them appear occupied when they’re actually free. Nobody seems to check this, and the pool attendants don’t appear interested in addressing the situation, which makes it frustrating for other guests. When we arrived, our room was not prepared for 3 people as it was supposed to be. We walked into having a double bed, and the extra bed missing, it was rectified quickly however. There were a few occasions where the face cloths and towels were removed but not replaced by housekeeping, and our mini fridge did not work for the first few days and I believe this is something that should be checked before each guest checks into the room. That said, the housekeeping team, pool bar staff, piano bar staff, and reception staff have all been lovely, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. I’d like to especially mention Kenneth who was working at the pool bar, he was always really lovely and smiling. The golf cart service could also be improved. During peak times, one cart isn’t enough. On one occasion we waited around 30 minutes, with the driver disappearing for around 20 minutes of that time, which was disappointing. Breakfast was okay, but I found myself eating the same thing every day because I couldn’t really find much else that appealed to me, and I’m not a fussy eater. That being said, food around the pool was lovely and great value. Overall, there are some excellent staff members and the views are mesmerising, but the hotel needs to improve its management of guest facilities and services if it wants to deliver a true 5-star experience.
