Hotel Dubrovnik Palace

Beautiful hotel incredible cliffside views of the Adriatic Sea. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was very nice. While the suite has obviously been planned out to maximize the use of the space it was quite tight in the bedroom to avoid the wall mounted TV when getting into bed. The suite was in excellent condition and was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff. Two bathrooms was a really great feature that we both really enjoyed. The two balconies are good sized with lovely views of the sea. While there is no actual beach, they made good use of the seaside space with naturally and man-made hard surfaces that puts you right at the waters edge. There are adequate steps to get in/out of the absolutely crystal-clear water. Some of the prime seating is fully reserved for select high-end suites. On many occasions those places remained vacant all day and thus seemed a bit much. The breakfast at the hotel is excellent with inside/outside seating. The staff were fabulous making sure things ran smoothly. While I appreciate this is an expensive hotel, I did notice the drink special of the day was posted at 39 EUROS. This in my opinion is ridiculous, obviously we did not have one! I would recommend the Dubrovnik Palace for a great upper-level hotel in Croatia.

Jerko is a credit to the hotel, he is very attentive and friendly and willing to make your sun bed and beach/pool experience the best …the staff at the bar and morning dining really need to up their game, coffee tea you wait ages they don’t make eye contact to try and avoid you asking for anything, not all but the majority of.. Would I come back !! No The room has no drawers for storage had to move the kettle tray to put clothes on the shelves, I did ask to move but it was going to cost an extra 600 euros.. The reception team were lovely when my husband got a bad neuro virus ..got the Dr to him at their expense…

I spent a wonderful day at Hotel Palace with my boyfriend, enjoying swimming and sunbathing. We relaxed outside, and everything was absolutely beautiful. A special thank you to Jerko, who took care of us throughout our stay. He was attentive, kind, and made sure all our wishes were fulfilled. Everything was perfect!

Great location for travelling into Dubrovnik old town on the no4 bus as first stop going in and last stop back. The bus stop is literally outside the hotel and comes every 15 minutes. It’s a bit of a crazy ride as they drive like maniacs and if you don’t get a seat you have to hold on tight. Very clean. A little bit corporate as they hold conferences there but we didn’t do little time inside the hotel it didn’t impact. The swimming pool is cut into the side of the cliffs with a nice pool and access to the sea. Again very concrete but little else they could do with the location. A bar and restaurant there as well. Breakfasts are really good and everything you could imagine to eat. Didn’t dine in there as ate every night in the old town. Drinks are very expensive The only thing that let it down was the sun loungers were not up to standard for a 5* hotel very tired and und uncomfortable and the parasols had seen better days. Also staff sadly lacking when breakfasting early. At 6.45 no tables were being cleared away so guests were moving dirty plates away so they could sit at window tables. Later breakfast experience was better more staff do better service
