Wow! As a solo traveller wanting a chilled vibe with luxury, seeking beautiful views, culture and lovely food and drink… this is exactly what I received. The view is to die for! Absolutely gorgeous blue and turquoise clear and tranquil sea instantly makes you feel relaxed and the views from every room throughout the hotel captures the view! I spent so much time watching all types of boats going backwards and forwards! The Adriatic is so clear as they have no industry that is detrimental to it. The wider landscape is mountainous but soft peaks and stunning little bays. It is rocky and pebble beaches here in the main. Facilities The outside is lovely with a plants and a large porch area for vehicles to pull up to. The hotel is very well served with the number 4 bus to old town - and it’s 5 euro for a return, they arrive every 15 mins from early to late! There’s an ATM, garage for parking if you hire a car. It is situated on Lapad on the peninsula so is a quiet area within 20 mins walk you can find a new restaurant, cafe and shop area. A warm welcome awaits from concierge. A large reception and very welcoming receptionist meets you and instantly the views hit you!! Get ready for that! A luxurious reception with plenty of seating, facilities and a calm tone set the scene. I got a free upgrade to an executive room on the 8th floor - how lucky am I! I really appreciated this! Check in was quick. The lifts are readily accessible and there are 4, rarely did I need to share with others and they arrive very quickly. The corridors are wide and the decor beautifully designed. There’s a number of sovereign and boutique shops. You can request room service. Maids for the room is daily, big fresh towels and handtowels. Shower was waterfall design with a separate hose and a large deep bath. The spec of the rooms are excellent. Cleaning is impeccable and very well maintained. Staff work tirelessly to keep the hotel to a very high standard. The balcony was very large with seating. The room I stayed in was large with mini bar, ample storage, welcome drinks and sweets, my own reserved sunbed at the beach villa, lamps, plenty of sockets, large comfortable bed, gorgeous view, large mirrors, hairdryer, and if you needed anything the reception were very receptive. The air con is very effective! You won’t be disappointed. A buffet restaurant with themed nights and a lovely breakfast including plenty of fresh food, homemade and on some nights with live gentle music. The service is super welcoming and attentive. The food is tasty, on the evening don’t expect like a full buffet restaurant with fries etc - it’s more Mediterranean vibes but I’m fussy and always found lovely food. The omelettes are cooked fresh by one chef and this is lovely! Definitely recommend. The other restaurant by the sea with beautiful sunset and sea views is the à la carte restaurant with fresh seafood, meat and vegetarian dishes. The service here was excellent too and the view again is gorgeous! The ribeye steak was my favourite and the lemon cake! Croatian wine is beautiful too. There’s a beautiful inside pool with two Jacuzzis and comfortable sunbeds inside and outside, a fully equipped spa, hairdressers and nutrition bar. This was lovely if you felt you’d had enough sun or wanted total relaxation. I had two treatments once I stayed here - it was lovely, very professional, relaxing and excellent therapists. Would definitely recommend treating yourself! The trips from here I’d recommend Montenegro, three island boat tour and I also did the Bosnia and Herzegovina tour. The tour guides were all local and very knowledgable and it’s easy to book via travel provider, rep or apps. The outside pools are lovely, quite deep and fresh. There’s a swim up bar with fab cocktails. You can charge everything to your room. Plenty of sunbeds. Beach villa which is a bit more rocky and beautiful. The pool is so clean and clear. Theres super easy access to the sea at a couple of points to go swimming should you wish to or sit by the sea as it twinkles. The sunsets and sunrises are GORGEOUS! It’s stunning! Croatia and Dubrovnik are beautiful and highly recommended. The old town is compact but beautiful, quaint, packed with history with the castle, walls, and lots of options - it’s worthwhile visiting. The port is lovely too. The service at this hotel is exceptional, staff are immaculate in their presentation, warm, welcoming, work extremely hard and are attentive without being too much! There’s no sales pitches here which I loved. The hotel is inclusive and has a range of staff. The DJ played chilled vibes during the day and live music was sometimes available in the restaurants - it is really not a quick entertainment vibe hotel if you want that book elsewhere - I did not, it has luxury relaxed vibes. It is super quiet in your room and for the large number of people it rarely feels busy or over crowded. I’d definitely recommend to stay here - I was here for a week and it is in my top 10 hotels I’ve ever stayed in! It’s got to be done and you won’t regret it. A big thank you, to all the staff that worked tirelessly!

Listed as 5 star. It’s 3 at best. Staff are disinterested and stand around chatting rather than helping. Pool bar staff are the worst. At least five of them on duty, none approached the guests to ask if they wanted refreshments. If you want a drink, you have to go to the bar and retrieve it yourself. Not 5 star performance as Ive mentioned. The same attitude is replicated everywhere. Lobby. Breakfast. Concierge. The room AC will only go down to 23’c. In midst of an English winter I have my heating set at 21. I called reception, no answer, emergency repair, no answer. Final house keeping came, but didn’t speak English. Sleeping is difficult in that heat. That said it is a nice hotel, quiet location, family’s and kids are the main customers. But it’s not rowdy. Also several elderly people. Hotel restaurants aren’t very inviting. Best to go on number 4 bus into old town for a better choice. 15 minute ride.

I had a 5day stay, nice staff perfect cleaning, nice showing soccer with a projector during the world tour. Breakfast was also very good The poolarea was also very good with the natural beach and the bar. The bus nr4 goes outside every 15 minutes through town to old town. 10min walk to beach and restaurants The sink in the bathroom has some fault when the plugg didnt get up and the water didnt go through. Overall very happy
