Aminess Vival Maestral Hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Aminess Maestral in Novigrad and truly enjoyed our family holiday. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well organized. The location is fantastic—right by the sea and surrounded by greenery—making it a great choice for families with children. We loved spending time at the pools and the beach area, and there were plenty of ways for everyone to relax while the kids had fun. A special mention goes to the team: the staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. We also really enjoyed the food, with a wide selection at both breakfast and dinner. Novigrad itself is lovely, and it’s easy to reach the old town from the hotel, which was perfect for evening walks and a bit of exploring. Overall, we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay and would happily return. Thank you to the whole Aminess Maestral team for making our holiday special.

We stayed two weeks in the Aminess Maestral Hotel with our son. We booked with breakfast and dinner. We definitely enjoyed our stay in this hotel and had a good time. It's a good location for many day trips (Venice, Pula, Motovun etc). The staff is very friendly and professional. After two weeks of staying in this hotel, the breakfast and dinner becomes a little bit boring. Some more variation would be good. Furthermore it would be good if they offer at least water for free at the dinner. We knew before that drinks are not included, but still..it's not what we are used to. The hotel is a little outdated and I think it needs some maintenance; some parts needs new paint for instance and at some doors the knobs are missing (toilet doors cannot be closed downstairs). Nothing special and not bothering, but at a 4 star hotel you expect this to be taken care of. The hotel has a nice wellness area which you can use max 2 hours per day. During our stay the steam room was out of order. The AC in the hotel, the room and the gym is not functioning very well. Since our stay it was very hot so a good AC is essential. To our surpise we had to pay for sun loungers with parasol at the beach (€ 18 per day). The beds around the pool are offered for free. All in all it's a good hotel, but it can be even better with just a little bit more effort.

I would like to thank the entire Aminess Activity Team at Hotel Maestral for their incredible energy, professionalism, and dedication to working with children. While walking along the promenade, we stopped to watch the mini disco and the Saturday evening show, and we were truly impressed by the wonderful atmosphere the team created. A special thank you to Marta, Iva, and Niko for their warmth, patience, and enthusiasm. It was lovely to see how they welcomed every child with a smile, encouraged them to join in, and made everyone feel included. Thank you for making our evening so enjoyable, even though we weren't hotel guests. Keep up the fantastic work!

Excellent stay at Hotel Vival Maestral! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious with plenty of variety. The seaside location is beautiful. I would definitely come back!

We had a great experience on our family trip. The hotel has an excellent playroom for kids, as well as a gaming room. The indoor pool was great; there is also an outdoor pool, but since we visited in January, we didn’t have a chance to use it. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with a wide variety of food to suit all tastes. The location is perfect—near the city center of Novigrad, just a few meters from the beach and parks. All the staff were very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly come back.
