Hotel Albatros Plava Laguna

Arrived 28th August. Room was ready so we went up. Both commented as to how small the room was. Asked for quiet room which we got. Room looked clean to start with but as the week progressed the cleaner did less and less. Toilet area was horrible as when you sat on toilet there was a full length window!! dead opposite.admitedly it was frosted but at night with the light on we felt very uncomfortable so tried to fix a towel over to no avail. Food was OK. Bacon and sausages had horrible taste to them. There was quite a lot of meat and fish to choose from. Potatoes were oily. Our biggest gripe was the lack of cleaning of the room during our stay. The toilet wasnt cleaned and 2 of the days she didn't even make the bed (pic included) and they expect a tip!!! Not much to do in the area as just couple of shops. Nice trip on noddy to porec though. Done venice trip. Very very long day.they kept saying venice is one of the most beautiful cities of the world but I totally disagree. Its a concrete jungle and when we went on a gondola ride the water stunk. Not worth the trip as it cost £94 each then when you get there it's another £100 each to be shown round and have lunch and the gondola ride. We had to pay it because we wouldn't have known where to go or what to do on our own. So day out cost £380!!!!! Croatia is a beautiful country but not this hotel.

The air conditioning was poor at best not helped by a radiator in the room being on full when it’s 27 degrees outside. Couldn’t turn it off myself as the controls were sized, hotel reception refused to move me or wanted to address the issue, contacted jet2 who were good to call me back a few times , but nothing was done about the radiators for a day , if you like sleeping in an oven with hotel staff that aren’t bothered, this place is for you . I think they only woke after I left a google review !! lima je bila loša, u najboljem slučaju, nije joj pomogao ni radijator u sobi koji je radio na punoj snazi ​​kada je vani 27 stupnjeva. Nisam ga mogao sam isključiti jer su kontrole bile prevelike, recepcija hotela odbila me je premjestiti ili je htjela riješiti problem, kontaktirao sam Jet2 koji su me ljubazno nazvali nekoliko puta, ali ništa nije učinjeno po pitanju radijatora jedan dan. Ako volite spavati u pećnici s hotelskim osobljem koje se ne uznemirava, ovo je mjesto za vas.

Whilst I understand this was an all inclusive, the drinks on offer were poor and the food average. The pools and sun beds are far too small for a hotel of this size.

Down side entertainment not good. Staff in bar area rude at times Get up early if you want a pool chair, people go down before 7am to put towels on these then don’t use them till late afternoon we found. Food good. Scenery amazing. Beach very clean make sure you pack beach shoes you will need them. Could not fault chefs as catered for dairy allergy going above and beyond at times. Were given rooms overlooking car park which we thought was as annoying but turned out a bonus as did not hear bad singing from entertainment Would we go back, not to this hotel but definitely return to Croatia

We highly recommend. Everyone was satisfied. Perfect rest for everyone. Everyone will find something for themselves. Lots of animations, great animators. We will definitely come back.
