The hotel was excellent and clean and the staff were brilliant - could not have asked for more.The pool/beach bar staff were exceptional along with all the waiters

We had a wonderful week here and would very happily return. This is a smaller, adults-only hotel, which we absolutely loved. It has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and never felt overwhelming or impersonal. The real stars of the hotel are the staff. They genuinely lift the whole experience from a good holiday to an excellent one. We found them incredibly friendly, helpful and caring, and there were several members of staff who went out of their way to look after us. The service around the pool and in the restaurants was particularly good. The food was lovely, but one of the biggest highlights for us was the dine-around experience. Being able to visit the different restaurants adds so much variety and makes the all-inclusive experience feel much more special. We've stayed in plenty of hotels and this is one of the things that really sets this one apart. We first visited in 2013 and have very fond memories of the entertainment then, particularly some genuinely impressive acrobatic acts. We felt the entertainment this time wasn't quite as polished and didn't have the same wow factor. The entertainment team were friendly and enthusiastic, but the overall standard of the shows and visiting acts could perhaps be improved. Our only other criticism was the frequency with which we were approached around the pool and beach about the spa, beauty treatments and excursions. We completely understand that these services need to be promoted, but after several approaches it can become a little intrusive when you're trying to relax. It would be great if there were a simple way of indicating that you don't wish to be approached. Those are relatively small criticisms of what was otherwise a fantastic holiday. The lovely food, dine-around options, adults-only atmosphere and, above all, the genuinely wonderful staff made this a very special stay. We'd definitely come back. ❤️

This was our first time visiting Egypt and I’m Jaz Makadi Star & Spa. Hotel and staff exceeded our expectations in every way. The cleanliness of the grounds, pools, spa etc is impeccable! Food is absolutely delicious, such a high standard and everything is so fresh and always a great selection. Best we have ever had at an ‘All Inclusive’ Hotel. All staff work so hard, are so friendly and professional at all times. Beach was stunning, great coral reefs to snorkel around with vast amounts of tropical fish. We used the spa twice, for massages, once at the beginning of our holiday & then on our last day. Absolutely brilliant deep tissue and classic massages from Kristen & Janet, thank you ladies they were much needed!❤️ We are just home and already planning our next trip back again. Thank you Jaz Makadi Star & Spa for a fantastic time.

The hotel staff spa and food didnt dissapoint at all. We were throughly spoilt. The staff are so hard working and so cheerful and couldn't do enough to make sure your stay was all you ever dreamed of and some. The room although slightly dated had lots of charm and so comfortable lots of hot water and our room service cleaner was excellent. We will definitely visit again.

Utterly fabulous hotel. Small but perfectly formed for a relaxing holiday. The service is second to none. Staff are beyond helpful. Food is outstanding especially around the pool. Front desk , pool area and restaurant staff were amazing. Would go back in a heartbeat. I was unwell while there ( not connecting to hotel) and was brought chicken broth soup to my room . Just because one of the staff in restaurant noticed I wasn't there . Highly recommend
