JAZ Makadi Star Resort & Spa

Facilities (on site of the hotel and in the whole Madinat Makadi), food, drinks, service, location - everything was great! We will definitely come back!

Second time visiting this hotel ,First time was impressed so was wondering if it would be the same. I was not disappointed ,excellent hotel with the food drinks and service very good.Coffee at the lobby Bar,cocktails and all other drinks were great .The food in the main restaurant was lovely well cooked varied and plenty full, Entertainment team were great trying to get you involved but not too pushy (although one was a bit loud lol )Big Mido who in now little boss is a credit . There is building work being carried out at the next hotel which does cause a bit of dust on the balcony but doesn’t really spoil your holiday . The members of staff who excelled was Ramadan (drinks waiter by pool ,tall one ) very hard worker and always a smile on his face We Will return next year Many thanks Mike and Karen Evans

My husband and I have just visited May 2026 and have been back just over a week now. The hotel is beautifully kept and extremely clean. All the staff, including ground staff work, very hard and the service was excellent. Shout out to Farhat at the pool bar for making us the best cocktails and also our favourite pool bar waiter Ahmed. The fresh food cooked at pool was lovely and plenty of choice. Rooms were cleaned daily as well as beach towels the hotel provided changed daily too. Food was excellent and I’m a fussy eater. The Italian and Indian al a cartes we also really enjoyed, especially the Indian. Another mention to the beach bar staff, Ali and Ahmed were always friendly and chatted away to me every time I was down. The beach is beautiful and kept very clean. We enjoyed snorkelling and having cocktails which were beautifully made and the food was also lovely. Saife and Big Mito who are part of the entertainment team chatted to us daily and try to get the guests involved in the daily activities. The only thing I would of liked would of been a bit more atmosphere around the pool, the music was so low you couldn’t hear it and there is construction going on (was not a bother) so having it turned up slightly to listen to when lying in the sun or swimming would be the only thing I would of changed but that is merely a personal preference. We had an excellent stay at Jaz Makadi Star and hope to return in the future. Thank you to all the staff for making our time away so enjoyable ☺️
