Pickalbatros Palace Resort

We have had an amazing stay at Albatros Palace Hurghada. The hotel is very clean, well organized, and everything is managed professionally. A special thank you goes to Omar Abdelfatah from the restaurant. He truly deserves a promotion for his outstanding work. Throughout our entire holiday, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. He is always walking around the restaurant with a smile, helping guests, and making everyone feel welcome. His positive attitude, hard work, and dedication really stand out.

My stay was nothing short of amazing. This hotel truly deserves its 9.4 rating, and in my opinion, it even exceeds it. As an Egyptian, I feel incredibly proud to see an Egyptian brand like Pickalbatros competing with—and even surpassing—many international luxury hotels through its outstanding hospitality and exceptional service. If I had to describe my experience in one phrase, it would be “Attention to Detail.” From the management to every single team member, everyone is genuinely welcoming, smiling, and committed to making every guest feel special. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. The swimming pools are excellent, and the cleanliness throughout the resort is absolutely outstanding. The Front Office team deserves special recognition for their professionalism, warm welcome, and seamless service. The restaurants were one of the highlights of my stay. A huge appreciation goes to the incredible restaurant staff and the talented chefs. The food quality easily exceeds five-star expectations—always fresh, delicious, and served throughout the day with excellent timing. The variety of restaurants and bars is simply impressive. My sincere thanks go first to the amazing staff, and secondly to the outstanding management for creating such an exceptional guest experience. A very special thank you to Mr. Mohamed Eid Soliman, a true ambassador of Mr. Kamel Abou Ali’s vision and the Pickalbatros Group. I stayed with my family (my wife and 4 children) for 3 wonderful nights from June 18th to 21st. Upon arrival, the management upgraded us from two separate rooms to a pristine, spacious family room. Special thanks to the receptionist, Mr. Mostafa Abou El-Kassem, for his warm hospitality, and the housekeeping team for their high professionalism. The food was diverse and excellent, especially at the Chinese, Italian, and Oriental restaurants. The Aqua Park was absolutely amazing and perfect for the kids. We also took an incredible boat trip arranged by the beach specialists, which included diving and memorable photos on a nearby island. The resort is extremely safe; I never worried about my children. Moreover, the place is highly walkable and beautifully designed to move easily between the rooms, restaurants, and the beach. Highly recommended for families!

Our first time in Egypt and we would 100% return. This hotel is fantastic, food is great and non repatative our favourite was the Italian and the Indian. Staff here can’t do enough for you- shout out to Kareim working the pool bar he was fantastic ensuring we had drinks all the time. Rooms were very clean and well kept also- mini fridge topped up with fizzy pop and waters daily- beautiful pools and the beach just at the end of the hotel perfect and the beach food bar was great for lunchtime! Plenty of sun beds also no need to reserve there is always space! Would recommend anyone who is thinking of booking :) we didn’t have children with us however there is tons for them also eveining entertainment is great!! We also had 2 massages in the spa which was lovely!! Only downfall for us was the men walking around the sun beds every day trying to sell boat trips, spa, salon etc etc- however if you go to the towel counter you can get a don’t disturb sign meaning please do not bug us- we only did this as on the 1st day we had around 5 people who would not take no for an answer and want tou to buy trips straight away!

I have been to Egypt seven times, so I have some experience with hotels in the area. While Pickalbatros Palace is officially rated as a 5-star resort, I would personally rate it closer to 4 stars. The beach is clean, but quite small. What shocked me the most was that the staff were painting the pier while guests were swimming in the sea. The smell of the paint was very noticeable, and some of it appeared to be getting into the water. In my opinion, this is not something that should happen at a 5-star resort. There are several restaurants, but the food selection felt more like a 3-star hotel. You can definitely find something to eat, but the variety was quite limited and disappointing compared to other resorts I have visited in Egypt. Another thing worth mentioning is that there are a lot of children at this resort. At times it can feel quite crowded and noisy. The evening entertainment is also mostly focused on children and families. Because of this, I would say the resort is much better suited for families with kids than for couples looking for a more relaxing or romantic atmosphere. On the positive side, most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I would especially like to thank the chef who prepared pasta at the beach restaurant—he was always kind and welcoming. I would also like to mention Mahmoud Ahmed from the beach bar. He was extremely attentive, friendly, and professional throughout our stay. What impressed me most was that he never asked for tips and treated guests with genuine kindness. Employees like him are a great asset to the hotel, and he truly deserves recognition and a promotion. I am not saying that my stay was bad, and less demanding guests will probably be satisfied. However, based on my experience, I would not return.
