Serry Beach Resort

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Me my mom and sister came here for my 18th birthday. We payed over 3000 pounds and the experience has been absolutely horrific. the words me and my sister used to describe the hotel were terrifying, eerie and clinical. The manager was absolutely useless, sarcastic and childish . he was not helpful and actually made us feel less welcome. he was extremely patronising towards the 3 of us . towels stank of cigarettes …. we had to ask for 3 batches of towels because they were stained and ripped . restraint staff were dismissive and got the order wrong. we waited about 2 hours upon arrival to even get to our rooms. My mom is so upset and spent so much for my birthday and it’s honestly appalling . ruined the whole experience for us and i am so appalled. There is no way this is a 5 star hotel, a 2 star at best. do not ignore negative reviews. There is one man working the whole night shift to escort people to their rooms. which is appalling he seemed tired and was the only good person we have met in this hotel. the best person we met in the hotel was the man who escorted us and our bags to our hotel. let that sink in. honestly shameful service . does not feel safe in anyway for 3 women . our room was supposed to be a deluxe room but not sure what is deluxe about it, blankets were creased, duvet was not done up properly, even the throw over blanket and towels had fabrics coming out. THIS IS ONLY THE FIRST DAY. owners and staff off the hotel should be absolutely ashamed. the manager was muttering things under his breath and his body language was horrendous he was using his hands to speak and quite literally mansplaining. the restraint staff acctually told my sister to have a diet coke instead of full fat because she needed to go on a diet ? again still the first day. we are now hoping to be on the next flight home. desperately need to get out of this hotel. the name of the manager is Ahmed Hamdi.

We have had the best week ever in Serry Beach!! The hotel and amenities are excellent but what really makes this place is the people and the exemplary service we have received throughout the entire resort. We will definitely be back again!!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely stunning hotel – we loved every minute! Serry Beach Hurghada, Egypt 6th–13th July 2026 | easyJet Holidays I would rate this hotel 10/10 if I could! Serry Beach is absolutely stunning, but what really makes this place special is the exceptional staff and the genuine care they show towards their guests. My husband Lee and I travelled with our adult daughter and her friend. We arrived late on Monday 6th July after travelling with easyJet Holidays. The hotel is only around 10 minutes from Hurghada Airport, which was fantastic after a long journey. From the moment we arrived, we received such a warm welcome from Hotel Concierge Mohamed Elshazly – quite simply, the jewel in Serry Beach’s crown! Our trip was to celebrate our daughter’s 30th birthday, she asked if there was any possibility of upgrading our rooms to somewhere with a sea or pool view. Mohamed was incredibly attentive and genuinely wanted to make sure we had the best possible holiday. He suggested that we go to the Dar Lounge, have some drinks and food and relax after our journey. Once we had eaten and refreshed ourselves, Mohamed personally showed us to our rooms. WOW! What beautiful rooms. Both rooms had pool and sea views. Our room overlooked the main pool and sea, while the girls' room, just down the corridor from us, overlooked the children's pool, beach and sea – right by the Ice Cream Shack! And speaking of the Ice Cream Shack… the ice cream is delicious, especially served in those freshly made waffle cones. Definitely worth trying! As it was our first visit to Serry Beach, Mohamed took the time to explain the hotel to us in great detail. We arranged to see him the following day to book the à la carte restaurants, which was really helpful. 🏖️ The Pool We spent a lot of our holiday around the main pool and were so well looked after. Mohamed Sarhan would come around and place fresh, fluffy towels on our sunbeds. He was always friendly, having a chat and checking that everything was okay. We literally didn't have to leave our sunbeds for drinks because Emad Eldin Mostafa took such great care of us. Cold beers, cocktails, soft drinks – whatever we fancied, Emad was there. We started every morning with an iced coffee with vanilla. Honestly, these coffees are unreal – you HAVE to try one! One morning I was feeling a little under the weather, and Emad brought me a chamomile tea with lemon. Such a thoughtful gesture, and it really helped. Those little touches make such a difference. During the day, Ahmed Mohamad would come around with slider burgers, chicken shawarma and other snacks. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. 🍽️ Sofra Food Hall This is the main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There was always plenty of choice, with fresh food and something to suit everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we never struggled to find something we enjoyed. 🍣 Keif Asian Fusion Restaurant Booking required. We went here for our daughter's 30th birthday meal and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent, and once again the staff were friendly and attentive. They took the time to explain the menu, which was particularly helpful as there was plenty to choose from. Definitely one we'd recommend trying. 🦐 Sokar Seafood Restaurant À la carte – booking required. The setting here is lovely, right on the beach. The prawns were 10/10 – absolutely delicious! There was also a lady making the bread, and she was so lovely. And the bread itself was out of this world! Freshly made bread is always a winner in my book. 🌅 The Rooftop Terrace – Arabic Grill Booking required. The setting here is beautiful, with stunning views, particularly around sunset. We thought the food was okay. The soup was particularly lovely. For us, this was more about the atmosphere and the views. It's a lovely place to sit, relax and enjoy a shisha pipe after a day in the sun. 🌮 Nur Beach Club – Mexican We really loved this place! We never got the name of the bar manager, but a special thank you to him because he and the team were always so warm and friendly. We came here most days after lunch, sitting at the bar and enjoying a drink. We also came here every evening before dinner for drinks while waiting for the girls to join us. You can come here for lunch without a booking, but dinner does require a reservation. I'd definitely recommend any of the starters, the steak for the main course and, the margaritas! 🍹Stunning The atmosphere here was fantastic, and it quickly became one of our favourite spots in the hotel. 🎤 Naz Cabaret We only visited once, but we really enjoyed it. The drinks and entertainment were very good. This isn't included in the all-inclusive, but we thought it was definitely worth going at least once. 💷 Tipping Tipping isn't expected, but we were very happy to tip. The staff work incredibly hard, and for us, the staff genuinely made the holiday. Their friendliness, attentiveness and little acts of kindness made us feel so well looked after. ❤️ Overall We absolutely loved Serry Beach. This was our first time visiting Egypt, and we honestly couldn't have wished for a better introduction. The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean and very Instagrammable, but for us, it was the people who really made it special. A very special thank you to: Mohamed Elshazly – thank you for looking after us from the moment we arrived and for making our daughter's 30th birthday trip even more special. Emad Eldin Mostafa – thank you for keeping us supplied with drinks, looking after us around the pool and for the lovely chamomile tea when I wasn't feeling great. Your thoughtfulness didn't go unnoticed. The Nur Beach Club Bar Manager – thank you for making our many visits to Nur Beach so enjoyable. We wish we had got your name! And thank you to all the staff at Serry Beach. What a team! We had such an amazing time that we've already booked to come back next year – this time for two weeks! Everything was absolutely perfect! We had such a wonderful experience at Kleif. The food was incredibly delicious, and the sushi was excellent - fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The teriyaki salmon was definitely the highlight of the dinner, absolutely outstanding! Great atmosphere, amazing food, and a truly enjoyable evening. Highly recommended! ❤️
