Xanadu Makadi Bay

My family and I had a great stay! We really enjoyed the hotel, especially the friendly staff at the main restaurant Otia. Special mention to the guy serving the ice cream Mahmoud always kind, smiling ! We’ll definitely come back 😊

Excellent stay. The standard is High and the service is excellent. The hotel staff is always available and highly dedicated. Hotel facilities are outstanding.

Very bad experience. We are family of 10, grandparents us and children. They first of all did't have our reservations correct, we booked 4 double rooms next to each other they gave 3 twins 1 double. We asked for a change of at least 1 of the rooms to also be double and closer to the other 3. Only 1 stuff member was kind enough to help us properly and suggested a double room for the next day, next to the other 3. The next day they were able to give us the room very late. Even though it is a lesser problem they are unable to communicate properly and correctly help their guests. The stuff at the reception is unprofessional, unsupportive or simply tired of handling so many guests. There are other hotels with similar pricing like Serry beach or Steigenberger which are so much better that i will never make a mistake coming to this place.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are genuinely wonderful, especially the team at the lounge and Agora Restaurant. I would especially like to mention Mr. Sayed at Agora, who was exceptionally kind, welcoming, and professional. However, my experience at Fancy Land this time was honestly a major disappointment. This is not my first stay at the hotel, so I can clearly see the difference compared to my previous visits. Unfortunately, the atmosphere at Fancy Land has changed significantly. Some of the Egyptian and foreign female staff come across as unfriendly and, at times, discriminatory toward the children. There is also a foreign woman who speaks extremely loudly while interacting with the boys, which is very disturbing and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. What concerns me even more is the lack of proper safety measures during some of the activities organized for the children. When it comes to kids, safety should always be the absolute priority. They also removed the ice cream freezer that the children used to really enjoy, which was another unnecessary disappointment. Overall, Fancy Land has lost much of the fun and welcoming atmosphere it used to have. This time, I found the place dull, unpleasant, and disappointing. As someone who has stayed at this hotel before, I really hope the management pays attention to this feedback and takes the necessary steps to improve the experience, especially for children.

Evrything was superlativ! Incredibly beautiful accommodation, with a spectacular view! The entire staff has show professionalism and The attention to guests is a 💯! Congratulations for evrything and we will be back with great pleasure!!!
