Xanadu Makadi Bay

Was a wonderful holiday ....the rooms were very beautifull ...the food was delicious and the drinks great...the beach very clean and well organised...the personal very carefull with the tourists less the bartenders at the lobby bar. Thank you for all and ill be back for the third time next year. Congratulations for everything that you do you remain my soul hotel from Hurghada. Kisses

My stay at Xanadu Makadi Bay was average overall. The resort itself is well-maintained and the rooms are comfortable, but the experience did not fully meet my expectations. The entertainment program was quite limited and lacked energy, especially in the evenings. Shows and activities felt repetitive and not particularly engaging. The food was the biggest disappointment. While there was a reasonable variety available, the overall quality and taste were below what I would expect from a resort of this category. Many dishes were bland, and the dining experience lacked the standard usually associated with a premium all-inclusive hotel. The staff were generally friendly and the beach area was pleasant, but due to the weak entertainment and underwhelming food, I would rate the hotel as average rather than exceptional.

Thanks xanadu it was one of the best vacation ever . Specially mr eslam elkhatib and mr micheal were really helpful. The asian and turkish restaurants were great and the main restaurant variety and quality also was amazing

It is our 3rd time in Xanadu so I think this review might be a little subjective as I tend to compair with the past experiences 1. Reception : the check in takes to much time.. This year, as last yet they tried to give us a room with tween beds (2 adults and a 3yo) claiming that they don't have rooms and that they will change us room next day but after telling them that we can not accept this they managed to find a room (the exact same room that we had last year)- we had exactly the same problem last year. 2. Room : not a thing to complain. Many thanks to the man cleaning our room and making all the towels models.. Our boy was really really happy with them 3. Shuttle buss: 2 years ago the shuttle station was near the reception and since last year they changed and now is near the pool. A minus here, because when you are with a small kid the walk to the station is a little too long. Also arround 6/7pm is hard to find a buss. But must say the drivers are really really nice and my kid calls them "my friends" and he really really enjoys the drive 4. Food - avarge, appreciate the fact that at kids corner the food is not with too many condiments. And last but not least, the main issue that I've noticed is not something that the hotel can fix but the tourist. Lots of kids in are unsupervised.. A girl was tasting the yogurts directly from the bawl with the spoon that everyone was using to put yougurt in the personal plate ( I have informed the employees and they immediately replaced all of them-thank you) Also at the sweets stations.. The kids are putting hands on all sweets to taste a bit. Also, I understand that the majority of the tourist are Russian but I don't appreciate that some of the staff speeks only Russian unless the hotel disiers is to have only Russian tourist.

Had the best time at Xanadu again. Fawez our room attendant was amazing. Made lovemy towel art everyday. Mohamed in the restaurant was amazing too. He always looked after us. Service was exceptional.
