Arminda Hotel & Spa

Not a hotel for couples. This hotel is ultra clean, well presented and maintained. They do need to add some handrails especially to the outside steps. The food was fine with plenty of choice but often just lukewarm! The drinks were also good, except for the coffee from the machines, which were grey and fairly tasteless. The road outside is on a regular bus route - 2 euro 20 cents to Hersonnisos... you can walk it (we did) but the bus is required as there are only a couple of little shops nearby and the hotel is fairly remote. The rooms are small but adequate and the cleaning is fabulous - we had a clean bed and towels everyday. The staff are pleasant and friendly. We didn't participate in any activities with the animation team, as we travelled as a couple without children. Owing to the amount of children at this hotel, our next booking will be "adults only". Every second lady we saw was pregnant or had a baby and/or toddler with her... the children are feral and run around the dinning room with exuberance of kids - but this is dangerous and distressing. There were many different nationalities at the hotel, but predominantly German. I would recommend this hotel for families and the amenities are fantastic. I would not return.

We just wrapped up an incredible 11-day stay at Arminda Hotel & Spa, and we cannot thank the team enough for such a wonderful experience. We traveled as a large family spanning three generations—my parents (grandma and grandpa), my spouse and me, and our two young kids—and every single one of us had an amazing time. What truly sets Arminda apart is the heart behind it. The owner and the family running the hotel are extraordinarily sweet, warm, and attentive. From the very first day, the entire staff made us feel like family. Every team member was welcoming, genuinely kind, and constantly made sure we were comfortable and happy. Traveling with kids and elderly parents can sometimes be stressful, but the hospitality here made it feel effortless. The food was great throughout our stay, offering plenty of variety that satisfied both the kids and adults across all 11 days. The facilities and grounds are lovely, vibrant, and well kept. The Animation team, night shows, mini discos, all are top notch, really amazing shows for the whole family, especially with kids, which had the time of their lives The only small constructive note we have would be regarding the sleeping comfort—we found the beds and pillows a bit firm/uncomfortable for our preference over an extended stay. A small upgrade or topper option would make the rooms truly flawless. That being said, the hospitality, atmosphere, and warmth far outweighed anything else. A huge, heartfelt thank you to the wonderful owners and the entire staff for making our family holiday so special. We truly appreciate everything you did for us and will cherish these memories!

My holidays here were very very good espacaly because of the animation team. I had a lot of fun with Lilla, lenny, alessio, my, chloe and maja. All of them are super kind and funny.
