Blue Bay Resort

Arrived around 2am. Welcomed very nicely to be taken to the annex building.. we were in dire disbelief as we had the first night in the room. It was incredibly outdated. The door handle fell off, and a god aweful smell of drainage all the time. The walk to the main buildings for meals three times a day became tedious. The pool area here was nice, quiet and barstaff always pleasant. The food selection was fine for us. We didn’t go hungry. We found the all inclusive drinks selections terribly poor. I feel the annex section needs complete renovating or not occupying. Many others felt the same. I believe if you upgraded I’m assuming you had the privilege of the main building. Needless to say we wouldn’t return. And I would continue five star as I have previously. It’s a shame as the hotel is nice in the main area and location really nice.

he hotel is a quiet and ideal escape with easy access to the next village by taxi, which the hotel has arranged. We chose this hotel for a family with children with special educational needs due to its smaller size. We were very satisfied with our choice. We had a sea view room that was perfect for our family of four. Food options were limited but there was always plain pasta and bread available. There wasn’t a children’s food selection at other hotels we have stayed in. A significant advantage was the availability of ice creams in a cone throughout the day. Snacks from the pool bar included pizza, pastries, crisps, popcorn, doughnuts and slushies. We had a dinner in the village by the hotel which was exceptional and we would highly recommend it. It is advisable to book in advance as it is fully booked most nights. The all-inclusive package did not include spirits or cocktails, which was not a problem for us but may be for others. The pools were consistently clean, tidy and comfortable with sunbeds available. The pool opened at 10am and closed at 6pm. The lifeguard was excellent with the children. We did not use the kids’ club but heard positive feedback. All staff were friendly and happy to help. We would most definitely come back to this hotel.

This is the 4th time we’ve used Blue bay hotel and we feel it’s like coming home every time Our rooms have always been easy to get to, even if my mobility presents problems for me The location of the hotel is excellent for our needs We go for the lovely laid back, chilled sociable and entertaining atmosphere We are treated like family by the warm, friendly and genuine greetings we receive on every visit

Amazing location by the beach, the atmosphere was wonderful. The rooms were spot on. Really good for the value and the food was spectacular. The service was next level and the cleanliness was 10 times better then all the other Hotels I have been too.
