Caramel, A Resort to Live®

Everything sbout this hotel was excellent. They service is really a 10 out of five - from the reception to porters to restaurant staff - every person far exceeded the expectations. I can honestly say after staying in many many fice star resorts that I have not experienced better service. The quality of food at their restaurant was excellent as was the selection and the special attention they gave to us because we were vegetarians serving us, specially made food for us even in a buffet dinner. The resort itself was beautiful. The decor was excellent. The location was great. I don't think my review does enough justice to this wonderful place.

Excellent hotel, and they staff are all fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful, without exception, and we enjoyed our stay. The loction on the beach is great, and yet go out of the front of the hotel and there are some useful shops and a selection of restaurants and tavernas close by. The atmosphere once in the hotel ground is quote, peaceful and relaxing. The room was lovely, BUT it was advertised as a Junior Suite, which it clearly was not. It was what anywhere else in the world would call a standard King size room. One room, a bathroom with a just a shower, no bath (no a problem, we prefer that, and the shower was excellent) and only one small armchair, so both of us couldn't sit at the same time, and no settee or other features you would expect to see in a junior suite. Value for money wise, it was good, but overpriced for what was advertised. For reference regarding bar prices, in Sep 2026 a Gin & Tonic was €12, which is what we'd expect in that quality of hotel. Cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted, it was excellent. Noise levels were very low, and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Service generally was excellent, and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Round the pool and on the beach, there was a lack of visiable service - we were at the pool almost 2 hours before anyone even asked if we wanted a drink. They never asked on the beach. The beach bar also lacks seating - 2 small tables at the bar, and a couple of tables further away. There is a large area where there would easily be more tables. Beach and Pool services could take a lesson from the Grecotel at Cape Sounio, who do it perfectly. Overall, apart from the room type and the small service niggles, it was an excellent hotel, and we would recommend it, and would return.

A fabulous boutique hotel. Great rooms, fantastic pool and access to the beach. The hotel staff from reception, housekeeping, pool bar, main restaurants were absolutely amazing. My wife is an vegetarian, following a quick meeting with Sofranis, he organised meals for my wife with the chef, who was not only accommodating but very skilful in making food to my wife's taste. Nothing was too much trouble. Our first visit to Greece and Caramel Grecotel but we are likely to return with the wider family.

If you are looking for a flawless luxury vacation that feels both high-end and deeply welcoming, Caramel by Grecotel is absolute perfection. We stayed here as a family with a young child and a baby, and we were blown away by how wonderful everything was. The property is stunningly beautiful and completely pristine—it genuinely feels like stepping right into a luxury design magazine. Every corner is beautifully landscaped and perfectly kept. What truly stole our hearts was the incredible staff. Their warmth and attentiveness represent the absolute best of European hospitality. They were so kind , welcoming and helpful with our little ones, making us feel completely pampered and relaxed from day one. The food is another absolute highlight. As foodies, our expectations were high, but the culinary experience completely blew us away. Every single meal was a spectacular work of art, elevated to absolute perfection. We had an unforgettable stay at Caramel and can’t wait to come back to our new favorite home away from home!

We have stayed in many beautiful five-star hotels and resorts around the world, but every once in a while you find a hotel that you simply fall in love with. Caramel was one of those places for us. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcome. Not just the usual polite five-star service, but something much warmer and more personal. Everyone we met seemed to truly care that we were happy and enjoying our stay. We travelled with our two young children, a four-year-old and a baby, and the way the staff treated us as a family was wonderful. They were patient, kind and always ready to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. And then there is the beauty of the place itself. Caramel is absolutely stunning. Walking through the gardens, past the beautiful buildings and towards the pool and the sea, there are moments when it honestly feels like a scene from a movie. The flowers, colors, little paths and architecture create an atmosphere that photos simply don’t capture. It is even more beautiful in real life. The entire resort is incredibly clean and beautifully maintained, and our accommodation was spotless throughout our stay. The food was another highlight. Breakfast had a huge selection of fresh, high-quality food, and dinner was something we genuinely looked forward to every evening. The quality, variety and presentation were consistently excellent. But what really makes Caramel special is the people. You never feel like just another guest or a room number. People remember you, notice the little things and make you feel that they genuinely want you to be there. And that feeling is consistent everywhere — reception, housekeeping, the restaurant and around the pool. When you travel often, you realise that real luxury isn’t only about beautiful rooms and impressive facilities. It is about feeling relaxed, welcome and genuinely looked after. Caramel gave us exactly that. We came expecting a great five-star resort and ended up falling in love with the place. Before we had even left, we were already talking about when we could come back. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful food, impeccable cleanliness and, above all, an exceptional team of people who made our family feel completely at home.
