Silva Beach

My 3rd time at Silva, but first time alone for a Couple days. I didn’t feel alone Because I got to see my favourite people again. Zoi and Xenophon are such hard workers and they made sure that my vacation was one I will never forget. When you go to Silva, look for this people please. They Will make your vacation even better…. Every time when I am at Silva beach it feels like coming home. Everything just feels so right there. I’m very glad I got to experience this again. Ofcourse I Will be coming back next year ♡

Loved our stay here — amazing staff, pools, and food! We had such a great time at this hotel! The grounds are super charming and styled like a cozy little town — really peaceful to walk around. The pools were fantastic, and the beach is just right there. The sea was warm, calm, and super nice for swimming every day. The food was honestly delicious with plenty of different options every single day. The whole atmosphere was super relaxed, and everything combined made it a really memorable trip. A huge shoutout to two staff members who made our vacation so special: First, Terens from the entertainment team — he was the absolute heart and soul of the place! He brought so much genuine warmth and positive energy to all the activities and evening shows. He really made an effort to talk to everyone and made us feel so welcome. Second, Xenofon, who was just incredible. He was literally everywhere — working behind the bar, serving tables, and keeping things safe as security — and he handled it all with a huge smile and total professionalism. The guy works so hard and genuinely cares about the guests. Great hotel, lovely atmosphere, delicious food, and even better people. We’ll definitely be back, and we really hope to see Terens and Xenofon again next time! 10/10, highly recommend!

Our first ever massage, and a great experience all round

I really enjoyed my stay at Silva Beach Hotel. The hotel was lovely, the beach was clean and relaxing, and the buffet had a great selection of tasty food. The bars also had a very nice atmosphere. A special mention to Xenofon for his kindness, professionalism and excellent service. He was always smiling and made us feel very welcome. A great experience overall — I would definitely return!

Location of this hotel was perfect for my husband, myself and two daughters (12,15). It’s directly on the beach promenade and accessible to many shops, tavernas for something different. We enjoyed walking up to the older village areas and taxis were very easy to get to travel into Heraklion for shopping and visit to the historic centre. We liked the Cretan village styling of the hotel and our room was a good size for our family of four and cleaned daily. However the sunbed situation was awful, this hotel has two pools you need to be awake and reserving beds from around 6am to get any together. The last two days of my holiday I was setting an alarm for 7am and only just found sunbeds for us to enjoy the pool in the morning. I stayed with those beds from that 7am hour, all the other reserved beds their occupants didn’t appear to well past 9/10am. No staff monitoring the situation. Really spoiled what is a good hotel. Good was average, no variety at all. Thankfully we aren’t fussy so always found something to eat but we did get bored and ate out more than usual despite having AI board.
