Silva Beach

Location of this hotel was perfect for my husband, myself and two daughters (12,15). It’s directly on the beach promenade and accessible to many shops, tavernas for something different. We enjoyed walking up to the older village areas and taxis were very easy to get to travel into Heraklion for shopping and visit to the historic centre. We liked the Cretan village styling of the hotel and our room was a good size for our family of four and cleaned daily. However the sunbed situation was awful, this hotel has two pools you need to be awake and reserving beds from around 6am to get any together. The last two days of my holiday I was setting an alarm for 7am and only just found sunbeds for us to enjoy the pool in the morning. I stayed with those beds from that 7am hour, all the other reserved beds their occupants didn’t appear to well past 9/10am. No staff monitoring the situation. Really spoiled what is a good hotel. Good was average, no variety at all. Thankfully we aren’t fussy so always found something to eat but we did get bored and ate out more than usual despite having AI board.

Rooms - a bit older style, older furnishers but clean and service every day ,even if leaving card on the doors that you don't need it. Bed for me way too hard I couldnt sleep well (because of bacbone pain) but its just my preferencies Food - delicious,a lot to choose from Location- good to see east side of Crete Service - very nice, sandwiches in fridge when we arrived 1:30 at night and we got breakfast delivered to room day before departure at 4 AM. Pools - 2 (1 with salt water, the second dont know,didnt use it) Sunbeds from 7am 95% not available because of lying towels.

A truly wonderful experience at Silva Beach Hotel! From the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, everything was excellent. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained, the beach was lovely and clean, and the buffet was absolutely fantastic, with a great variety of delicious food. A very special thank you to Xenofon, who truly stood out! As a waiter and bartender, he was always friendly, cheerful, professional, and provided excellent service. As a security guard, he was responsible and professional as well. What makes him special is his positive energy, kindness, and the way he makes every guest feel comfortable and welcome. For me, Xenofon was not simply a member of the hotel staff; he was one of the people who made my holiday even more enjoyable and memorable. Staff members like him are truly what make a hotel special. Congratulations to the entire Silva Beach Hotel team! I leave with wonderful memories and I would be very happy to return again. Thank you for everything!

We loved the hotel. The food and the pools were fantastic. Espesially the Aegeo Spa, the People there are so professionals. Thank tou Efrosini, Keisi, Moe and Stavros!!
