Ammon Zeus Luxury Beach Hotel

We had a great 2 week stay at the Ammon Zeus Luxury Beach Hotel in Kallithea. A very smart hotel perfectly appointed with that view and the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea the absolute selling point. We arrived to our pre booked garden room but upgraded to a sea view the morning after arrival. To be honest there wasnt much difference to the actual room if anything at all but obviously the view was spectacular. The service throughout the hotel was exceptional during our 2 week stay. We did ask for a mattress topper on day 3 as the bed was too hard for me and wasnt getting a great nights sleep but this was provided by Nik without any fuss and this was greatly received. Food wise we can only comment about the breakfast. This was plentiful and of good quality but the exact same every day which is where I think it could improve a little. Special mention to the lady who checked our room number upon arrival and to the lovely guy on the egg station who was wonderfully smiley every single morning. We also ate in Greco's which is the restaurant attached to the hotel. Our first night there was our anniversary and the meal and the whole experience was wonderful, made all the better by our server Elizabeth who was so good at her job and so lovely to chat too (an absolute credit to the hotel). We did eat again here in the 2nd week and again the food was super good. The beach and pool areas were beautiful and a nice touch is you are always guaranteed free sunbeds on the beach every day. In general all the staff are very professional and friendly. The hotel was spotlessly clean. A special mention needs to go to our lovely cleaners Despina and Vasilli (sisters) who were wonderful and we had good fun with for our 2 week stay. The ladies on reception were also really nice and deserve a separate mention. The only other thing I would mention is the cost to keep your room on for 6 hours was extremely expensive and the courtesy room on offer is just a shower room in a corridor with the staff all milling about so not very private and this was a bit of a surprise. The weather turned the 2nd week and the town became scarily quiet, almost like a ghost town with restaurants closing down daily so if we return it would be a little earlier in September.

The staff is exceptionally well-organized, attentive, and genuinely kind, making you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. ​The food was consistently delicious with plenty of variety, featuring fantastic local products that added an authentic touch to every meal. The overall atmosphere throughout the hotel is peaceful, soothing, and perfectly aligned with a calm spa retreat. ​The beach itself is stunning, with easy and unique direct access. The sea is crystal clear with a breathtaking turquoise color, and the entire beachfront is kept impeccably clean. ​On top of that, security is top-notch, providing great peace of mind throughout the stay, and having convenient, secure parking on-site made everything hassle-free. We would gladly return

We stayed for 2 weeks. Excellent beach, clean and well maintained amenities. But what made our stay special was the staff, they were so welcoming and kind.
