Good stay. Friendly staff. Almost perfect food. But a lot of people. We stayed a year ago in bigger room and was better. In our case the bed was too soft for me. I decided to sleep in the sofa.

We were on family trip with our friends. We had amazing time. The beach is great t. The stuff is very kind,generous and helpful. I really liked that everyone in hotel were very friendly to kids even when they run throw hotel,or make some mess while the dinner. Atmosphere in hotel is warm. Rooms are really really clean. Ladys who clean came every day to change the towels and make our bad. The are amazing! We will came back!

Just returned from a 9 night all inclusive stay here as a couple. Would not say this was a 5 star hotel, I'd say more a 4 star Pros Hotel is situated right on the beach,plenty of sunbeds at the beach and also round the pools,hotel communal areas were spotless and never an issue getting served by the friendly staff.good variety of food at breakfast,lunch and tea after 9 night it's gets repetitive but find this with any all inclusive hotels.we had a harbour view which was amazing,maids came to change towels daily (pretty early) and they came with water daily too, gym was very clean and plenty of choice of equipment. Cons The hotel is in the middle of no where and difficult to walk to the next town, however there is a ferry taxi which is 4 euros each way,our room was very dusty and dated, we had raised tiles on the floor which for kids this would be a trip hazard,the water runs yellow so had to run it for a while before you had a shower,we must have arrived at baby and toddler season as hotel was full of babies making the evening mealtime very hectic, by no way am I anti child but it was chaotic at times,the only evening entertainment was a woman singing badly and she managed to empty every bar she sang at.all the bars were very empty at the night but think this was down to all children and maybe going to bed early,the lifts take a while due to the amount of prams and trollies so if you can manage the stairs be prepared for a leg workout a few times a day, checkout was at 11am and this is where the all inclusive ended even tho we were not getting picked up until 6pm,food and drinks available but you have to pay extra for this (never happened before at an inclusive hotel before) All in all we had a perfectly nice holiday, would not recommend nor would return which is a shame as the hotel itself could be amazing with a few tweets!

Loved our week at Porto Carras. Family of 4. Highlights: beach, pool, food selection and all inclusive options (Coke and soft drinks in cans rather than draught, as an example), marina views. The beach was a particular highlight. Dislikes: other guests (some people need to remind themselves they're on holiday and smile more), transfer time from airport. Meal times could also get a little hectic. Hotel a little tired in some parts. Would recommend.

I wanted to leave a review as an English family with 2 young children about this hotel. First of all, we booked our holiday through Jet2. The transfer from the airport to the hotel was horrendous. We were dropped off in the middle of nowhere in the middle of Greece in the dark halfway through our transfer didn’t know what was going on the driver didn’t speak English. We waited about 15/20 minutes for another bus to pick us up. There was no communication at all of this happening and as you can imagine my two young children were very scared. The hotel itself is okay. The lobby is lovely. All kept nice and clean. The reception staff was okay. Rooms again okay? I’ve had better I’ve had worse kept clean could be done with being done up slightly. My two children’s bed was a sofa bed which we knew but it was pretty rubbish. Very thin mattress. They slept okay on it. The main bed was big very comfortable it’s nice. For somewhere that you’re just showering and sleeping was okay ,we had Seaview that was nice. The food was okay we always found something to eat but not very good variety and wasn’t very warm most of the time but we found it okay. My children didn’t find that much to have could do with having pizza fishfingers chicken nugget something like that or kids buffet then it would be better. The pools are lovely very very cold. We went to the end of August so it’s still quite warm 34 some days but the pools were very cold. We went in the indoor pool a couple of times the children are only allowed in there from 10 in the morning till two in the afternoon. The lifeguards around the pool love to blow the whistle. I know they’re only doing their job and don’t like people jumping off the rocks into the pool but your children aren’t even allowed to jump from the side into the pool which I’ve never known a hotel before Be warned about the shops that are at the hotel are very very expensive. My children like to get afloat Lilo rubber ring that kind of thing we went down to the shop on the first day and one of the Lilo‘s were €62 so we said we would wait until we went to the town and the same Lilo in the town was only €7. The beach is nice it’s not Sandy. It’s very little stones which is okay. Sunset was lovely. Some nights. You have sunbeds for the hotel which is nice so you don’t have to pay for them. The all inclusive part was a bit rubbish worst I’ve ever had named brand drinks are not all inclusive hardly any cocktails at all.You can’t get slushy on all inclusive and you can’t get ice cream on all-inclusive at the pool bar. There is a brunch shop there which we saw on our first day and thought brilliant thats where the snacks are, but no, you have to pay for them. The only snack you can get during the day is one type of pizza which has got ham and mushroom on and you can’t have them removed. And they are only available from 12 till one and four till six there is other food hotdogs, et cetera but you have to pay for them. There’s a bowling alley there we didn’t use it. You have to pay for that. The marina is lovely to walk around. There’s a few shops there and again that but they’re expensive. You can get a boat taxi from the marina to the main town which takes about 1015 minutes which is €4 per person per way which I think expensive but is worth it. It was lovely and we did do this a couple of times. The town is okay nice to have a walk round a few shops a lot cheaper there very hilly. We hired a car for a couple of days there is not much around for children. We found a few nice beaches and they had the water parks there that you had to pay for on the sea which we did one day and it was really good. Kids really enjoyed it but there is nothing else around beautiful island hardly anything there. Their signs up saying you can’t reserve sun beds towels will be removed but they never was every time we woke up 6:45 seven-ish towels are already laid out on sunbeds and for the size of the hotel there wasn’t enough sunbeds for everybody. As an English family there wasn’t many other English families there everyone else was from somewhere else which were you expect to see when you go abroad but they were very rude. They left a mess everywhere they left the towels all over the sunbirds for the staff to pick up they left their cups and drinks everywhere for the staff to pick up they would leave their Lilo‘s et cetera bucket spades hat anything you can think of they would leave around the pool or the beach. There was rubbish everywhere and the staff went round and picked it up every evening which I think it’s quite disgusting for them to do. You just need to tidy up after yourself. Doesn’t take much. It made the beach and the pool. Look very messy. I had read that there was entertainment which my youngest child loves a mini disco so the first evening. We had a wonder we couldn’t see no stage or anywhere that would be entertainment. We sat on the beach and watched the sunset then we could hear some music so we went to have a look and it was just two ladies with a speaker on the grass doing some dancing much to my youngest child’s discussed she didn’t want to join in with that. There was no adult entertainment. The bar reflections which is by the main buffet restaurant was lovely beautiful staff in there too young girls were amazing. We sat most evenings looking over the marina having a drink playing cards which was okay but again my children like to have a bit of entertainment. They had a lady playing saxophone a couple of nights a lady sing one night just randomly which was okay. All in all it’s okay hotel to say their five star I wouldn’t say that I’ve been to 3 stars and it’s been better. I wouldn’t come back there and I probably wouldn’t recommend it to anybody either. There is better out there.
