TUI BLUE Lagoon Princess

Stayed in June 26 Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Tui reps non existent for couples, or anyone outside of the family pool area. No one has tried to engage with us or anyone outside of that area which has been disappointing and 2 attempts to engage with differnt issues has been fruitless. Restaurant staff were very attentive and eager to help and support. Plates very discreetly moved and done very efficiently. Pool areas are clean and pools are exemplary but the sunbeds are basic with no cushions. This needs to be addressed. Food and Restaurant- food was very good with something to suit every palate, in my opinion. Nice touch was the adult only area in the main restaurant. Grounds - the place is very nice and well kept. Snack bar - basic and needs to be revised. Crepes, toasties and ice cream only. Parrott gallery is dreadful. Why this artist has been picked to display their art is beyond me.

We’re currently on the final day of our stay, and I felt compelled to leave a review because I was genuinely dreading coming after reading some of the recent reviews. We even considered cancelling our holiday, but I’m so glad we didn’t. We have been very pleasantly surprised. The positives: The customer service has been outstanding. We were kindly upgraded to a premium room on arrival, and every single member of staff has been incredibly friendly, polite and helpful throughout our stay. Honestly, I’ve been so impressed by the team—they are a real credit to the hotel. The hotel itself is modern, attractive and very well maintained, with lovely grounds. Cleanliness has been exceptional everywhere, especially in the restaurants where tables are cleared immediately and everything is kept spotless. I genuinely cannot understand many of the complaints about the food. We enjoy good-quality food and have found the dining here to be excellent. There is an enormous choice at every meal, with fresh salads, fruit, traditional Greek meat and fish dishes, as well as plenty of international options. Both lunch restaurants are great, and the Taverna is particularly lovely for both lunch and dinner. I honestly don’t know who could struggle to find something they enjoy with the variety on offer. The cocktails from the reception bar have also been excellent. The staff, food, hotel grounds and rooms have all exceeded our expectations. Also; we were really pleased with the beach and clear waters! That said, I do think it’s important to set realistic expectations. This is very much a hotel designed for families with young children. The kids’ club is fantastic, and I would say it’s ideal for children aged roughly 0–7 years. Would I come here as a couple without children? I would not. Would I choose it with teenagers? Probably not, as most of the entertainment is aimed at younger children. Is the evening entertainment the best I’ve ever seen? No—but it has kept our little ones happy, which is exactly what we wanted. The hotel is also quite remote, although we knew that before booking, so it’s worth being aware if you prefer to explore the local area. As a family with a three and four-year-old, we have had a genuinely wonderful holiday. It’s been clean, relaxing, fun and incredibly family-friendly. I honestly don’t recognise many of the negative reviews we read before arriving. Finally, I think it’s important to keep the price point in perspective. I’ve stayed in some truly exceptional five-star luxury resorts in Greece, but those holidays typically cost £8,000–£10,000 for a family during peak season. I wasn’t expecting that level of ultra-luxury here, and I don’t think it’s a fair comparison. For what we’ve paid, this hotel has delivered excellent value. If you’re travelling with young children and want a clean, welcoming hotel with fantastic staff, good food and facilities designed around families, I would happily recommend it.

We are just leaving after a 10 day break to Lagoon princess. Reading the reviews prior to arrival I was anxious but I would rate the hotel 4*. Having stayed in previous 5* I feel there were just a couple of areas lacking making it a 5* but overall a great holiday: The positives - The hotel grounds are lovely. Well maintained. Nice large resort with plenty to see. I like the range of pools, bringing variety to your days. The beach lovely, with sunbeds. Never had an issue finding a sunbed. The range of drinks available on the all inclusive was lovely and the cocktails nice. The Al A Carte meals (which we booked on arrival- meaning we got all 3 in) were lovely. Nice to have live music in the restaurants. The entertainment team brilliant- from day time activities to evening entertainment. Very talented and the shows were brilliant- loved the musical show! Staff all very friendly and approachable. Loved the singer - Elena. And the bar team member called Elena (who made surprise cocktails for my Fiancée) The buffet was as expected. Good range of food, however at times slightly lukewarm. Could do with lids on the dishes to keep them warm. We visited the spa - massages lovely. Slightly overpriced but it’s what you expect. Pool area inside lovely with sauna and steam room I’m celiac and they catered for me relatively well. Compared to previous experiences at all inclusive. I was told on arrival to preorder if I ever fancied GF Pasta or Pizza. Both enjoyable. I was also able to have GF crepes in the day time as well as GF pancakes and bread at breakfast. Overall, my only complaint with the allergies was the lack of desserts- with most of the time only having access to sorbet, fruit and ice cream. With 2 opportunities for GF brownie. When approached staff- was informed if I required more dessert options I would need to inform them more than 10 days prior to arrival, I had emailed multiple times but assured it would all be arranged on arrival. Drawbacks- The temperature of food at the buffet not always great. The gym could do with an upgrade as very small and cannot fit more than 3 people in. And machines have no way of adding weight onto them. Otherwise a brilliant hotel. Thank you for the stay.

ust returned from a wonderful week here with my husband and our 12‑year‑old. The hotel sits within beautifully kept grounds — spotless, with lovely gardens. The beach is just across a tiny, quiet road. I’d recommend beach shoes for getting into the sea, but the water was warm and crystal clear, and we spotted plenty of fish while snorkelling. We stayed in a junior suite with a private pool, which worked perfectly for us. We noticed that aside from the umbrellas around the main pool, there wasn’t much natural shade, so having our own pool was ideal. Our room (5303) had sun from around 11am onwards. The main pool also serves as the swim‑up pool area, so it’s shared with those rooms. We considered booking a swim‑up but were ultimately glad we chose the private pool instead. Definitely keep the net doors closed — we had a few curious crickets wander in when we forgot! We’d recommend booking a cabana for the day; they go quickly, so arrange one when you arrive. The waiter service is great, and the beds are perfect for relaxing in the sun. Water isn’t available 24/7 in fridges like at other TUI Blue hotels. Here, you’ll find it in the restaurants and bars, so make sure to stock your room fridge during the day. Food-wise, there are two bookable restaurants — Green & Grill and the Taverna — plus the main restaurant. At lunchtime you can choose between Green & Grill, the Taverna, or grab snacks from the pool bars. The food was good, with plenty of salads, fruit, and a decent variety of mains, though it did feel a bit repetitive. Compared with other TUI Blue hotels we’ve visited, the variety wasn’t quite as strong — just our personal opinion, and certainly not enough to put us off returning. Entertainment wasn’t the strongest from what we saw, mostly aimed at younger children. There were singers in the bar in the evenings, which we enjoyed. If you are early birds catch the sunrise on the beach, if not sunset out the front is stunning. Not much in the area, some shops up on the main road (supermarket/bakery) and a saloon bar called crazy horses that us a 10-15 minute walk. All in all a lovely holiday, feel that the 5 star rating from TUI is stretching it a bit, more a 4 star. But would still recommend

As others have mentioned there are positives to this hotel but the large negatives outweigh them. The hotel would score top marks for cleanliness and maintenance - for example a faulty sink plug was exchanged in seconds - but massively let down by the following:- 1. Major Faults FOOD - largely inedible especially evenings in main restaurant. Cold or lukewarm, when complained manageress contradicted this. Food turning up in a different guise the following day. Breakfast only 3 cereals available and no omelettes. The a la carte restaurants far better with hot food that was actually tasty. Could not believe that a hotel of this calibre could not be bothered in serving drinks to the table, at breakfast time an actual hazard having to carry hot coffees etc to tables in the side rooms. ENTERTAINMENT very poor amateurish shows in amphitheatre ( not every night) whilst mournful singers sang close to bar where seating was inadequate esoecially in the covered outdoor area LOCATION - misleading online '500m from village' which consisted of one pub with bone - hard seating, shops and supermarkets miles down a dusty main road plagued with constant traffic whizzing by as no proper pavement SUGGESTION: Lay on Courtesy buses to the next village Nea Moudania to avoid being fleeced by the rip off 40 euro return tax fare which, when added to a meal at the many eateries there, makes for a dear evening out 2. Lesser Niggles for a 5* hotel 1. Ants in rooms and temperamental room cards needing frequent changing 2. No Mini Bar Service, even waters had to be carted to the room fridges instead of being dropped off by houskeeping 3. No exchange facilities at reception - when wishing to pay check out bill in sterling they refused to change it to euros! Unbelievable!! 4. Extras horrendously expensive Jacuzzi chargeable - mpst hotels its free. Masasages - nothing much under £70, Laundry service over priced as were the Gazebos, £40 a day in a grubbly tent So overall disappointing when a few changes would make all the difference. The little things really do count as well
