Theros All Suite Hotel

we were apprehensive about our booking. was all done online with the understanding we would pay upon arrival. we were nervous having paid no deposit, but each email was reassuring. booked a room that included transfers. had to contact hotel for transfers. they didn’t contact us. all good in the end. nice room, good private pool. had breakfast one day out of the 7 it was included. posh coffee was made by a barista but our plates were empty when the coffee arrived. unable to comment on gym, bar, main pool, public facilities, entertainment, food.

The location and rooms are fabulous. Atmosphere is very chilled and relaxing very clean and tidy everywhere. The staff are amazing. The only letdown is the drinks service. We waited half an hour each time for a gin and tonic!!

What an amazingly relaxing & friendly hotel. This could be a long review so I will list the many plus points. Warm welcome, free drink & wet flannels, beautiful furniture and surroundings, a silent army of staff keeping the grounds beautifully maintained, rooms spotless and serving with a smile. Gorgeous junior suite roof garden with hammock (114 above main restaurant) would have a sea view without the trees. Separate wc and shower (open shower no door), Marshall speaker, lots of plug sockets, USB slots, handheld steamer, silent fridge (water bottle is refilled if you leave it out), Nespresso machine (topped up daily & herbal teas), ceiling fan, fly screen, patio doors blocked out all exterior noise, luxurious hand wash, hand/body cream, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, towels changed daily, robes, flip flop slippers, good lighting, full length mirror. Breakfast was excellent, sat undercover and breezy, a welcome break from the heat. Menu and self serve, I loved the fresh fruits and all the granolas, nuts, dried fruits & seeds. Salt water pool is huge, peaceful music & setting, very comfy sunbeds, deck chairs & bean bags. QR codes on parasols to order from the bar or use the app (worked perfectly). Excellent WiFi signal everywhere. Potted herbs and fruit trees all around smell lovely. I loved the yoga teacher, very relaxing on the roof of the bottom restaurant (€15). Albert on the beach was hard working & always smiling. Audrey on reception very knowledgable and friendly. Lovely Greek olive oil gift as we were leaving, thank you. Some notes i made - open plan bedroom storage can look untidy & would have preferred bedside cabinet drawers rather than the table to keep everything out of sight, needs a shelf in the toilet, some days could smell the waste bins on the balcony, be aware of the mossies due to the pretty roof garden. We felt rushed eating in the restaurant on the Greek BBQ night, 3 courses done in 1hour due to super quick service. Restaurant chairs were too low for me being small. Overall very glad we chose the hotel, there are some lovely restaurants less than 5min walk, recommend The Valley & Istros.

We had a wonderful stay at Theros hotel. The hotel itself has a lovely calm environment, a chilled vibe so perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful stay. The staff are very kind and attentive. Also the best Greek salad which we had daily! The breakfast included was amazing so much fresh food to choose from. We had the room with private pool which was just so luxurious, such a nice space to spend time in. Kos town is about a 15-20 minute walk which again we did daily so good location too. A lovely stay!

We could not fault this hotel. Stunning location, beautiful design and architecture, lovely poolside ambience and an EXCEPTIONAL breakfast. Tranquil, relaxing, calming - a real treat. It was everything we wanted from our stay and more. The proximity from Kos Town to walk in for dinner and drinks in the evening is also a real plus point. If you're considering staying at Theros just do it. Staff are also very friendly and welcoming and the service is quick and easy. I do need to say a massive thanks to Iraklis the reservations manager who, after we had a really poor experience at our next hotel on the island, kindly organised for us to come back to Theros for our final couple of nights and made it really easy for us. We felt really looked after by all the Theros team!
