Avra Beach

Had a wonderful 9 days at Avra Beach. Good location right on the beach with a small selection of restaurants and shops nearby. Entertainment team, bar staff, waiters, cleaners all happy, friendly and will do anything for you. Had a side sea view room which did look partly over a building site, but did not cause any problems at all. The rooms were immaculate and cleaned daily. Air con was great and not noisy. No kettle in room but asked reception and they had one brought up immediately with cups etc. No water bottles in fridge but there are water machines around hotel to fill plastic cups/own bottles. Food very good, at a good temperature always. Restaurants very clean with hand sanitisers available if required. Beach sunbeds are like mattresses! Never had ones like this anywhere else. Only used the pool once as the sea was warmer and so inviting. Must not forget Nikolas and Roxy the German shepherd dog. He walked along the shore with her off lead at the same time every day, throwing her ball into the water for her to collect. Very happy to be stroked and very obedient. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We have had an amazing time three couples, hotel spotless, food very good, the staff so friendly, entertainment brilliant lots of good bands..would definitely recommend. Room cleaned daily ...

We had a family holiday here in late August (24th to 2nd Sept). What a wonderful place to have a great family holiday. A perfect base camp to explore the island of Rhodes. The shuttle from the hotel to the Old Town was always easy to use and always on time. We hired a car from the business attached to the hotel, which again was easy to do and well worth it. So much to see and do on the island. Our highlights were Anthony Quinn Bay, Tsampika Beach, The monastery at Tsampika, the amazing Lindos and so many more. We also did a boat trip to Symi (so beautiful) and stopped of at St Georges Bay for a swim (the bluest water I have ever seen!!). But a massive shout out to the hotel. We came away to celebrate two birthdays and we were made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived with birthday banners, balloons and party hats in our room. The room was great and the cleaners kept it clean and tidy the whole week. The hotel offers everything you need. It's not massive which allowed our 10/11 year old to wonder freely between pool, footy pitch, activities, cafe and beach. The food is amazing and the outside dining experience is lovely, especially when the sun starts to go down (miss those beach views). Again the staff here are so professional and keep things tidy and will always go that extra to make things easy for people. The bar staff are friendly and always welcoming with a smile and a drink suggestion. The stars of the show are the entertainment team. So much fun. My daughter loves to get involved in all the activities and they made all these fun and friendly. Big shout out to all the entertainers (Bogdan for the darts and water polo, Cyril for Boccia, volley ball and kids club, Elaina for the kids club, Tipi for the football) and all the others who helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere. They really were amazing. This is a great spot to holiday in Rhodes and all the staff were fantastic. Thank you for making our time there special. Yamas Richie Rich, Bridget and Evelyn x

We’ve honestly had the best holiday, and so much of that is down to the incredible entertainment team — Sam, Lia, Boogie, Tibi and Cyril. They have made our time here so special, always going above and beyond to make sure we were having fun, laughing, and feeling looked after. They’ve genuinely made us feel like family and have created so many amazing memories for us. The energy, kindness and effort they put in every single day is something we really appreciate. They are such a huge part of why we keep coming back year after year — we honestly wouldn’t want to come anywhere else! Thank you for making this holiday one of the best yet. ❤️

2nd time visiting this hotel, This time round with my Sister and Auntie and is has not disappointed us in anyway, The hotel itself is beautiful, We've had 14 days of pure sun hitting around 26/39° and 14 nights of absolute beautiful sunsets. Met the most amazing people out here that we will keep as friends for life now, Everyone just gets on so well with one another which makes your stay that bit extra special 😊 The entertainment team are AMAZING, You come as strangers to them and leave as family, Sam, Lia, Boogie, Tibi and Cyril is 100% what makes your holiday! From morning till night they make you laugh, Entertain you and make sure you have everything you need and more. 100% reccomend this hotel to anyone wanting a family holiday, Solo holiday or a couples break away! Gutted to be leaving!
