Doreta Beach Resort & Spa

I don't understand these negative reviews at all. We got back yesterday after spending a week here. Our stay was absolutely amazing, and we didn't want to go home for anything in the world. The staff is absolutely wonderful, and my kids adored them—especially the ladies who clear the dishes from the tables. Thanks to them, my kids looked forward to every meal and really enjoyed themselves. Our room was practically on the beach—it was like a little cottage with a terrace, where your “garden” is the beach and the sea. The beach is both sandy and pebbly, which the kids love. You can hear the planes, but you can also see them clearly, which is another plus for the kids. There was always plenty to choose from when it came to food, and their desserts were wonderful. For a week-long stay as a family of four, we paid half of what we would have paid in Turkey, for example, but we enjoyed much greater luxury. I understand that some people might complain about the quality of the rooms and how clean they are. It’s clear that it was built on a budget and has been around for a few years now. But I really don’t spend my vacation walking around the room and scrutinizing every corner like some of the other reviewers here—it’s pointless. What matters is that the service is worth it. The only negative thing I have to say about the entire stay was that it rained for just under an hour in the morning, and because of that, the outdoor pool, bar, and snack bar were closed all day. That was a shame, because the rest of the day was beautiful and the beach was packed. But this one day can't compare to the overall impression of my stay. I had one of my best vacations here. Close to the airport . Nice pool. Very close to the beach. About the restaurant, the glasses smell terrible, not lots of choices when it comes to breakfasts and dinners. We didn’t get the room we booked because of “ small problem “
