Rhodos Horizon Blu

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All staff were lovely & friendly and are a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, lots of choice. Rooms were very clean and comfortable (air con, Wi-Fi, fridge, kettle, hairdryer provided, safe was €20 per week). Housekeeper in every day & was just lovely. Our only criticism is the terrace around the pool - it’s too small for the size of the hotel so guests had difficulty getting beds as most were taken by 9.30am. Hotel is just across the road from the beach and a short walk from Old Town, marina etc. plenty of shops, Tavernas & restaurants nearby

Location are excellent only a few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. Very clean hotel and excellent foods at breakfast and evening meal. Wise range of foods that help to meet every one need and I am gluten free. The restaurant manager and his staff are amazing they went above and beyond. Only let down is checkout time. We arrived after midnight as there are no alternatives flight times from Birmingham airport to Rhode. Disappointed that no foods was reserved for us when we arrived as we did paid for half board although we couldn’t get to the hotel until after 12am. We were expecting a small plate of fruits, bread, Cheese and a bottle of water reserved for us like we got when we went to Crete last year. Flight arrival times are always late at night to Greece and Crete especially if you travel from Birmingham Airport in UK. Our transports pick up time to airport from the hotel was 8.40pm. So the hotel should have made allowance to let us check out at 3pm but we had to paid €50 for staying in our bedroom and check out at 5pm. That was rather unfair so for this reason we won’t be coming back to this hotel. Plus there are no comfortable sofa anywhere in the hotel to enable us to relax as no one from the reception mention or sign put up to let us know where we can find comfortable sofa area. our bedroom was the only place where we can relax on the bed hence why we requested for check out at 5pm on our last day here. The housekeeping were excellent very clean and spot less. So thank you housekeeping. The bar staff were also excellent.

The location of this hotel is perfect as you are just a walk away from the night life and restaurants, about 15 -20 minute walk into the old town also. We loved this hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful the food was beautiful, rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels everyday I really cannot fault this hotel at all. The view from the sea room was stunning.So good we booked to come back next year before we flew home on this trip. Highly recommend this hotel.

I can honestly recommend this hotel. the staff is very nice, the building is new and clean. nothing but come back here for the second time. The best bartenders in the world!!!

The overall experience was great, delicious food and lovely service, we especially loved the snack bar (great club sandwich, chicken fillet, moussaka, gyros, calzone and the dip assortment) at the hotel and the best waiters there Tibor and Irini!!! Best service ever, thank you so much 😁
