Great Hotel about 30 minutes walk into old town along seafront..there is a quicker route on Google maps.that takes you past an old velodrome for all yiu cyclists out there..restaurant staff are outstanding especially Sonya who looked after us..not many facilities around hotel few restaurants. Just across road from lovely beach..highly recommend

We stayed here in August for a week for our first couples holiday and honestly I wouldn’t go back to this hotel for a number of reasons. Our room was on the 4th floor and right next to the lift so every morning from 7am the “ding dong” from the lift doors opening goes off non stop for hours, on top of that when room doors aren’t closed properly it sets off an alarm in the room which is obviously a great safety feature but not well thought out when the cleaners are going from room to room from early morning it felt like complete chaos every morning. The hotel doesn’t have enough sun loungers at the pool for the amount of guests staying, so every morning if you weren’t down early enough there’s no where to go. We paid for all inclusive, the hotel only has one bar and through the day drinks are served in these filthy reusable plastic cups that some of which have this gross yellow crust around the top, when we asked the bar they told us this was fine! The all inclusive drinks were also below basic. The two servers that worked behind the bar during the day were also extremely rude, I believe the girls name was Anda and she was just overall unpleasant, she ignored us to serve people behind us, told me to remove my arms from resting on the bar even though the men at either side were doing the same, refused to pour certain drinks etc the list goes on. The same food was served at both lunch and dinner every day and honestly it was rank, we ended up with food poising for two days and can only think it was something we ate at the buffet. Location wise there’s not much near the hotel at all, the town is only 10 minutes away tho and 12 euro in a taxi but if your like us and prefer to go to town at night there really isn’t anything close by for during the day. Other than that the reception staff were nice, the rooms were clean although bathroom was tiny!! It also flooded everytime you used the shower. Unfortunately we would definitely not return to this hotel

So where do I begin? Let’s start with the positives… because there definitely are some! THE GOOD STUFF The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, and honestly, the staff are beautiful. What a lovely bunch of people! They genuinely cannot do enough for you and are an absolute credit to the hotel. The beds are uber comfy, the rooms have that lovely pure darkness which is a massive bonus for me, and the little beach directly across the road is absolutely idyllic. €20 for two sunbeds for the day and honestly, worth every penny! Rhodes Town itself is stunning, and the hotel is around 30 minutes from the airport by taxi, so getting there is nice and easy. Now… onto the downsides. THE POOL The pool is BALTIC. Absolutely freezing! And it’s tiny. There are also nowhere near enough sunbeds, which means there is a mad rush around 8:30am to grab a spot in the sun. The hotel itself shades a large part of the pool, so unless you’re lucky enough to get the side directly to the right of the restaurant, you’re basically sunbathing in a shadow. THE ALL INCLUSIVE Now this is where I have to be honest… In my opinion, the all-inclusive offering is nowhere near what I would expect from a 4-star hotel. I’d personally put the food and drink offering more around a 2–3-star standard. Breakfast was actually lovely! Lots of choice, fresh bread, omelettes and pancakes — definitely the highlight. The fresh fruit, however, looked like it had been sitting out for days and wasn’t particularly fresh. Most of the other fruit was tinned. It was perfectly edible, but when you’re paying around £600pp for four nights, I personally expected a little more. Lunch was okay. Small choice, but lots of lovely salads, which were probably the highlight. Although… if the salads weren’t eaten, they seemed to make an appearance again at tea time. We weren’t particularly impressed with lunch, so we didn’t have high expectations for dinner — and unfortunately, we weren’t wrong. Dinner was basically salads with a choice of Chinese or pasta with sauce, and again, it just wasn’t really to our taste, so we didn’t bother going for the other nights. In the end, we decided to have breakfast at the hotel and head out for food for the rest of the day/evening. THE DRINKS Again, this is probably just personal taste, but the drinks weren’t for me. They tasted very cheap and artificial. I know that makes me sound like a complete snob, but I’m just being honest! The Fanta Lemon was nice though, so there’s that. LOCATION One thing to be aware of — you are literally in the middle of nowhere. There isn’t even a little local supermarket nearby to grab snacks or drinks, which we found a bit of a pain. That said, the old town is only around 20 minutes on foot or 8 minutes in a taxi, and honestly, it’s absolutely worth the €12 taxi fare. It’s beautiful and has loads more atmosphere, restaurants and places to wander around. AND NOW… THE ENTERTAINMENT Or should I say… the lack of it. There is ZERO atmosphere around the hotel. It genuinely felt like God’s waiting room rather than an adults-only holiday resort. I’ve stayed in other adults-only hotels and they’ve had such a lovely atmosphere, music, entertainment, people socialising and things going on. Here, they put on around one hour of entertainment every couple of days, and honestly… it was very underwhelming. It just wasn’t for us. FINAL VERDICT For four nights, I’d say it’s okay — especially if you’re looking for somewhere clean, quiet, with lovely staff and a beautiful little beach across the road. But personally, I would be gutted to stay any longer. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff are fantastic and the location gives you easy access to Rhodes Town, but the food, drinks, pool and especially the lack of atmosphere just didn’t live up to what I would expect from a 4-star all-inclusive. Would I go back? For four nights? Maybe. For a full week? Absolutely not. But hey… that’s just my honest opinion!

Lovely hotel , very clean, looked after very well. Staff are very attentive especially reception and restaurant. Close to little beach which was great. Just across the road. Lovely little quiet beach. Pool area great , clean and well looked after. Food was great. Lots of options and I would find it very hard to believe If someone said they couldn’t find anything to eat. Lots of options breakfast, lunch and dinner. Personally for me hotel a little bit further away from the heart of it all. We normally stay in hotels closer to centre. However we got the bus a few times (bus stop across from hotel) and taxi also to Old Town/New Town which was only €10. Could be walked but was too hot when we were there. This was my second time in Rhodes so had seen a lot anyway. Overall great stay! Would stay again if location wasn’t an issue.

Fantastic stay – amazing hospitality! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a fantastic stay at Rhodes Horizon Marina and really enjoyed our time there. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was excellent and the whole team made us feel very welcome. A special shout-out to Anda at the bar, who was absolutely lovely, and Dimitris, the barman, who was always friendly and great fun. We also want to give a huge thank you to Sofia and Yana at reception. They were brilliant and went above and beyond to help us when we decided to extend our stay for several more nights. Nothing was too much trouble, and their help and friendly attitude made everything so easy. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and couldn’t fault the hospitality. A great team who genuinely make you feel looked after. Thank you to everyone at Rhodes Horizon Marina — we’ll definitely be back! 🇬🇷❤️
