Rodos Park

We really enjoyed our 6 night stay at this hotel, however there were a few areas for improvement. Overall the hotel is beautiful-clean with excellent housekeeping staff, lovely turn down service, really elegant renovated premium rooms and very nice breakfasts. The pool area was very attractive too. Location to the old and new town areas was perfect. Food and drinks by the pool were expensive, but this was to be expected. One reason for our rating is that even though we had booked a double room, as a husband and wife, we arrived to two single beds. We went to reception and asked about a double room and were told that unfortunately, none were available. Given I had booked the room 5 months in advance, this was disappointing. We were asked to check again the next day. I found this approach unusual in this level of hotel. No room was available the next day either. On our third day, we were offered a double room, but given we were now half way through our stay, we thought we might as well stay where we were (and as stated the room was lovely, in spite of the single beds) instead of pack everything and move. A second reason for our 4/5 rating was our departure day. We paid extra for breakfast to be included in our rate, however on our final day we had a very early flight. In other hotels, a nice breakfast basket or similar is provided in these circumstances. We were given two stale sandwiches and some old fruit hastily tossed into a paper bag-not a great final impression. As stated, overall we really enjoyed the hotel and with a bit more attention to detail, the hotel would reach its 5 star rating.

Have just returned from Rodos Park having spent a week. Lovely hotel, absolutely immaculate; the staff are amazing, headed by Evangelis and his wife, who are the best management team I have encountered. Warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely invested in ensuring you have the best holiday experience without being overbearing or forced. Their staff are well-chosen and all operate seamlessly. Hotel is very well-situated. Overall, food pretty top-notch and the rooftop cocktail bar is a must. Highly recommended.

We cannot thank the Rodos Park team enough for what they did for us. Our cruise itinerary changed unexpectedly due to severe weather, which meant a proposal I had spent months planning in Mykonos suddenly had to be completely reworked in Rhodes with essentially no notice. I reached out to Rodos Park that morning, and their team immediately went above and beyond. They arranged early private access to the Galaxy Roof Lounge, coordinated a photographer on extremely short notice, played the custom song I had selected as we approached the proposal area, created a beautiful candlelit rooftop setting, and helped coordinate the arrival of our family afterward for dinner. The proposal itself was everything I could have hoped for, and the evening continued just as beautifully afterward. Dinner was excellent as well. The staff helped us navigate the wine menu and made the entire experience feel special rather than simply serving a bottle at the table. There was a wonderful presentation as they carefully cut the wax from the bottle before opening it, and they continued serving the wine attentively around the table throughout the evening. We were also given a fantastic spread of dips with fresh bread, which was a small touch but one that really added to the meal and the overall experience. Every member of the team was warm, discreet, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. What could have been a very stressful and disappointing situation became one of the most memorable evenings of our lives. I am genuinely grateful to Popi Nikitara and the entire Rodos Park team for the care, flexibility, and kindness they showed us. If you are considering Rodos Park for a special occasion, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My wife and I have now visited this hotel for the last three years. This is a well appointed hotel which we find comfortable and friendly. When we arrived this year my wife said 'It feels like home' which says it all. The staff are always friendly and helpful which helps make the best holiday experience. The manager Evangelos is very visible and makes himself known to guests to ensure that they are completely satisfied with their stay. We are very impressed with the level of service we have consistently received. This year we were mainly served by Demitris, who again was attentive, helpful with a good knowledge of wines. The hotel is situated close to the Old Town which is fascinating to explore. The restaurant serves a great selection of reasonably priced meals.

My wife and I have just enjoyed a 10 nights stay at the Rodos Park on a B&B basis. We are regular travellers to Greece but it was our 2nd visit to Rhodes, albeit, the 2 visits were 42 years apart. The hotel is superbly situated being 10 minutes from the ‘Old Town’ and 20 minutes from the much underrated ‘New Town’ (the return being uphill, in parts). The hotel’s facilities are, principally, what you would expect from a SLH hotel. The Reception is continually manned and an immaculate Lounge area is situated adjacent to the Reception. The dining room is extremely pleasant and the breakfasts (served in the dining room) are outstanding. The only areas that some guests might find disappointing are: 1) Bedrooms - even the highest priced rooms - are smaller than in some other SLH hotels 2) The poolside beds are quite uncomfortable with no mattresses on top of the frames. Older guests, particularly, might find the beds not only uncomfortable but also difficult to rise from. The hotel management should consider purchasing rubber mattresses for the pool beds. The bedrooms are comfortable (but my earlier comment re size should be noted) and the rooms are kept immaculately clean and tidy. Without doubt, the hotel staff - without exception - are friendly and enthusiastic and a credit to the hotel and its brand. Particular mention must go to: Andreas (Front Desk) , Anna (Housekeeping) and both Kristine & Claudine (Breakfast Team). All are ‘stars’. With a few minor changes to drinks and food pricing - the hotel’s pricing is high compared to local restaurants and tavernas - and more comfortable pool beds the hotel would easily merit a 5* rating.
