Sea View Village

Myself and my partner booked Sea View Village for a week based off the reviews and I have to say, they're absolutely spot on. The rooms are great, spacious and clean, the pool area is fantastic, the breakfast is brilliant - and as the name says, the views are spectacular from everywhere. But the one thing that makes Sea View Village special is the staff. They really could not do much more for us. We checked in late and were offered dinner when we arrived, the shuttle bus was great and the service was fantastic. A special mention has to go to everyone working for Sea View Village for making our holiday so special. If you're looking for an amazing place to stay in Vasilikos, look no further.

We stayed here for 11 nights with our 15yr old daughter and her best friend. Wow!! Where do I start! We have the warmest welcome from Maria and Mary which delighted us no end. It was as if we already new them. We have never received a welcome that generous anywhere we have stayed before. Our 2 storey room was stunning with plenty of room and exceptionally clean. The pool area was beautiful and there were sunbeds and towels provided on every bed. There were no beds being reserved and not being used. Again, the first time I have witnessed this. There were plenty to go round. The pool bar was great and the food was exceptional. We had breakfast included. Yes, it was samey but there was everything there you could need. EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF STAFF were an absolute delight. They would stop and talk to you and they honestly couldn't do enough for you. We ate in the restaurant a few evenings and the food was wo nice. There was a supermarket almost next door which had everything you needed. And a little further walk were a few restaurants which took about 5 & 10 minutes to walk to. There is a shuttle bus from the hotel that takes you to a local little beach which was lovely but there were lots of wasps. Maria arranged a hire car for us so we explored for a couple of days to get out and about. So, if you're thinking if booking here then don't hesitate. The whole place is so well looked after and immaculate. We always say we wouldn't stay somewhere twice, but this is an exception. We will definitely go back for sure.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful ten days in this idyllic hotel, we had the duplex two bedroom apartment and it was perfect for myself, my wife and my teenage son. The view from the room of the ocean, the pool and the pine forest was just amazing, all of the staff were fantastic and very helpful and Maria the owner should be very proud of them all. The whole of the hotel and the wonderful pool are absolutely spotles, there is no bother getting a sunbed at anytime, and a special mention has to go to the fantastic Greek breakfast served in the stunning restaurant, especially the rice pudding and fig marmalade. We loved the sounds of the owls at night and the rooster in the morning, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return, highly recommend.

Beautiful location in the hills. Best view we have ever had from a balcony, stunning. So you have all the information (as we did not): The beach, Porto Kaminia, is across a busy main road and down a very steep, windy road. The hotel only runs a shuttle at 11am and then back at 4pm. Trying to walk up that steep road at the end of the day, in heat would be very hard indeed. Also the hotel is up a very steep track from the road. The air-con is 15 euros extra each day. Safe is free but you have to ask for a key. There is also tax at an extra 10 euros per day. Rooms are nice but no soundproofing at all and you can hear other guests, especially as in our room there was a piece of plywood in what used to be a door? Balconies close together, so you can also hear other guests. Rooms could do with an update. The hotel bar is very quiet at night. They provide towels for the pool but take your own beach towels. The Taverna Florida along the road towards Argasi is amazing. It would be very dangerous to walk along the main road where there is no pavement, so walking to Argassi not possible. Hope that helps.

We stayed at the Sea View Village Zakynthos for 5 nights and it was the best hotel experience our group had ever had. Every single member of the staff went above and beyond to provide service to us. Maria the owner is the sweetest most caring lady who made sure we were accommodated for at all times. The bar staff, restaurant staff and breakfast staff were warm and constantly asking in a genuine way if there was anything they could do to further help our stay. You can really tell these employees care as every guest was so comfortable having long conversations them - we could’ve talked to Mark for hours! Our highlight of the stay however would have to be the Greek dance night we participated in on Sunday night. They bring in traditional dancers who perform and then teach you how to dance. It was the best environment with all the village guests dancing as well as the staff - it felt like a genuine Greek experience. On top of this we got fed a fractional Greek dinner before hand with a buffet of souvlaki 1000/10. As promised in their name the view was fantastic and you could even see the main land of Greece! The pool was another highlight for the warm summer days as they had comfy sun beds and umbrellas for shade! We also had lunch by the pool a couple days which was amazing. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re after a traditional Greek accommodation as well as a welcoming experience with the most amazing staff!!
