Legian Beach Hotel

Another amazing visit back to our favorite place to stay. The staff are amazing, food delicious, bungalows so comfortable and welcoming. Reception welcomed us back home when we checked in. Our housekeeper even recognized us from last year and which bungalow we stayed in. Legian Beach Hotel is in a great location, close to everything, shopping, restaurants, massages and beach all a few steps outside the resort. The atmosphere inside the hotel is so relaxing, lovely gardens run throughout, pool areas are amazing, breakfast to die for and amazing restaurants. Can’t wait to return.

My husband and I were lucky enough to spend 5 nights at this hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient from check in until leaving. Loved our villa with pool, the bed was so comfortable and the room was modern and spacious. The buffet breakfast was varied and the food was delicious and excellent quality. The poolside drinks and food were reasonably priced and delicious. We ate in the hotel restaurant ‘Ocean Terrace’ with beach views and there was a lot of choice with Indonesian and International menus. Heaps of restaurants and bars within walking distance. We had spa treatments at Usadha Spa which were reasonably priced, clean facilities and well trained staff. We will definitely return!

We decided to try Legian Beach Hotel for a change, as we usually stay elsewhere, and unfortunately we weren’t quite as impressed as we had hoped. We had a few issues with our rooms and ended up needing to change rooms multiple times, which was frustrating and took away from the relaxing holiday experience. We also found the pools quite small, and were disappointed to discover that one of the pools is adults-only. This wasn’t something that was clearly communicated when we booked, and with a family, it would have been helpful to know beforehand. That said, the buffet breakfast was a real highlight. There was a fantastic range of options, including great gluten-free catering. There was a separate gluten-free area with its own toaster, and GF pancakes were freshly cooked to order, a thoughtful touch that was very much appreciated. The best things about the hotel were definitely its location and the staff. The location is fantastic and incredibly convenient, and the staff were consistently friendly, warm and helpful. Overall, while we probably wouldn’t rush back given the room issues and pool situation, we appreciated the wonderful staff, excellent location and particularly the effort made to cater for dietary requirements.

If you are looking for top-notch tennis coaching in Bali, I highly recommend the courts at the Legian Beach Hotel. My coach, Pak Made, is not only a fantastic player himself but also an incredibly patient instructor. He took the time to properly break down my forms for forehands, backhands, and volleys, rather than just running basic drills. The location is unbeatable—right in the center of Seminyak—yet it offers an amazing tropical wellness vibe. Surrounded by lush greenery, it truly feels like you are playing a match in the middle of a jungle. The facilities are impeccably clean, and the vibrant blue court is stunning if you want some great aesthetic photos. I needed to change the dates of my reservation due to circumstances at home and the hotel would not accommodate at all. I did not need a refund, I just needed to change the dates. I ended up forfeiting my booking and loosing my money. This is unacceptable and I warn people against booking at this hotel!!
