Well, we try go on holidays to different places twice a year. For some reason my wife for the first time she’s absolutely happy because everything/everyone here are exceptional.

Extremely disappointing – would not recommend Reception was pleasant, but another guest’s warning about the hotel’s standards soon proved accurate. The restaurant was open for late arrivals, but the only food available was stale bread and cheese. More concerning was the appalling cleanliness: the main restaurant floor was so greasy and dirty that you could slide while walking, food was left on the floor after cleaning, the coffee machine was filthy, and there was a putrid smell throughout the area. The following morning, the same food was still on the floor, no clean tables were available, and the restaurant remained foul-smelling. The food quality was shocking. Our large room appears to have been cosmetically updated, but the bathroom tiles have been painted with emulsion, which looks terrible. The room is also damp, with extensive mould and damp problems. The accommodation is spread across a very steep hill, despite being advertised as one block with two lifts.This morning, we paid an additional £300 to upgrade so we could be closer to the facilities,as my daughter has a heart condition that the hotel were made aware of yet the room we received has serious damp and mould issues. The pool area is also in poor and potentially dangerous condition, with extensive damage and several tiles urgently needing repair. The uneven surfaces are a serious hazard, particularly for guests walking barefoot or with wet feet. We asked to be moved, but Jet2 had no alternative accommodation available and have been incredibly unhelpful. We have stayed at both Princess hotels and both Barceló hotels in the area, which are far better in terms of cleanliness, quality and standards. I would not recommend wasting your hard-earned money on this hotel. It feels like somewhere time forgot.

I loved this hotel as a single traveller, food, drinks and staff overall are very good. Its worth going to the spa as the staff there, really know there stuff and will ensure that your experience is the best. The beach access is a bit hilly so if you have young kids or mobility issue then this maybe a problem. Otherwise I would come and stay again!

Make sure you take insect repellent as not only us but a lot of people got bitten alive - no sleep as felt things on you. French is more spoken there! Food not great but ok , meat was very gristly or fatty . Lots of work going on whist there on the pool and lots of drilling so Hopefully upgrades done soon Have to admit not somewhere we will be retuning to we rated a 3 star + definitely not a 4 star.

Myself and my partner had a 10 night stay. The resort is in a great setting but be aware that it is in a more isolated location which we knew before booking. If you’re looking for off site nightlife and shopping consider somewhere else. There is a regular bus service to Morro Jable which takes about 15-20 minutes. We felt that the overall condition of the resort was clean but very tired. The rooms were clean but we had a cracked marble sink surround and ants in the bathroom. Our room card reader also broke but a temporary fix was put in place by maintenance the following day. We appreciate that the resort has to cater for different nationalities, but all of the activities and evening events were held in French, with the staff just assuming we were also French speaking guests until we made them aware. This made for unnecessary awkward moments. As per other reviews I will credit Ozz as being one of the few activity staff members that made an effort to speak English. The food was varied and generally good. We found that larger groups of guests would start to rearrange the dining tables even when asked not to by the staff. We would come back to the area again as it was beautiful with great beaches that are a good 15 minute walk from the resort, but we would look to stay at a different resort
