I loved this hotel as a single traveller, food, drinks and staff overall are very good. Its worth going to the spa as the staff there, really know there stuff and will ensure that your experience is the best. The beach access is a bit hilly so if you have young kids or mobility issue then this maybe a problem. Otherwise I would come and stay again!

Make sure you take insect repellent as not only us but a lot of people got bitten alive - no sleep as felt things on you. French is more spoken there! Food not great but ok , meat was very gristly or fatty . Lots of work going on whist there on the pool and lots of drilling so Hopefully upgrades done soon Have to admit not somewhere we will be retuning to we rated a 3 star + definitely not a 4 star.

Myself and my partner had a 10 night stay. The resort is in a great setting but be aware that it is in a more isolated location which we knew before booking. If you’re looking for off site nightlife and shopping consider somewhere else. There is a regular bus service to Morro Jable which takes about 15-20 minutes. We felt that the overall condition of the resort was clean but very tired. The rooms were clean but we had a cracked marble sink surround and ants in the bathroom. Our room card reader also broke but a temporary fix was put in place by maintenance the following day. We appreciate that the resort has to cater for different nationalities, but all of the activities and evening events were held in French, with the staff just assuming we were also French speaking guests until we made them aware. This made for unnecessary awkward moments. As per other reviews I will credit Ozz as being one of the few activity staff members that made an effort to speak English. The food was varied and generally good. We found that larger groups of guests would start to rearrange the dining tables even when asked not to by the staff. We would come back to the area again as it was beautiful with great beaches that are a good 15 minute walk from the resort, but we would look to stay at a different resort

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Alua Village and have had a fantastic time. We decided to upgrade to My Favourite Club and were so glad we did. Having the Club Lounge and the room upgrades made everything feel that little bit more special. There was always a good selection of food available at mealtimes and snacks and drinks were available from the terrace and pool bar if required. The whole hotel was very clean and staff all worked hard to keep it that way. All the staff we dealt with were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. The pool areas were amazing, such a lovely space to relax and chill out with a book and a cocktail! Just wanted to say a big thank you to the entertainment team who were all amazing and worked really hard all day to provide activities around the pool and in the evening. There was so much to do if you wanted to but also a quieter, more relaxing area by the pool if you just wanted to chill. We did venture down to the beach a couple of times and the walk wasn't as bad as I was expecting from some of the reviews, just a couple of steep bits, but okay if you take it steady. And the beach was well worth the effort. Overall, a fantastic holiday in a lovely hotel. We have already started looking at when we can return!!

Hotel a bit tired, food okish, if you’re French you will be ok. Very very French, so much so, they dominated the hotel and were rude, entertainment crap and french. Staff not very friendly, Bjorn was VERY rude, he had a face like a slapped a…banging and slamming around when he was cleaning up. Fortunately we made friends with 2 other couples and had the best entertainment with them. If we hadn’t had met them, we would have been absolutely bored and prob be in bed by 9, as there was nothing else to do. You can’t even go for a walk out of the hotel, there is nothing around. We walked down to the beach on the first day to discover it was nudist beach full of old people. Yuk! Avoid! Def won’t be returning again. Oh and the gym was old, broken and dirty.
