Barcelo Corralejo Sands

My husband and I stayed in September and loved our stay. This is the first year that my husband has had mobility issues and now walks short distances with walking sticks but also uses a wheelchair and we were nervous about going on holiday but we needn't have worried. Our ground floor pool view suite was perfect as was easily large enough to manoeuvre the wheelchair, the shower was a large walk in with a grab rail and the hotel had arranged a shower seat. We were all inclusive and I was pleasantly surprised with the choice and quality of the cocktails. The food in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner was what you expect in an all inclusive hotel, with lots of choice each day, but what we particularly liked was the lunch option which is table service and served in the bar and which you order from a menu and is served between 12:30 and 16:00 (I think), the food at lunch was good and the extended service time was great for flexibility. For all inclusive guests there are also a selection of self service hot and cold snacks. The entertainment team (Safy and Ago) were friendly and enthusiastic and worked really hard to get guests involved. I have never really done any activities before on holiday but after a little persuading from them in a not pushy way I did aqua stretch\yoga and aqua gym most days of our 2 week stay. The evening entertainment, which was different every night we were here was also good. Overall we loved our stay and having always said we wouldn't go back the same place twice we are hoping to come back again next year.

The hotel was an average 4 star. The rooms were big we had a 6 month old baby so the hot tub and sunbed loungers on the balcony were an added bonus whilst the baby slept. We went half board and the food was a bit bland in the evening. Not the best barcelo we’ve stayed in but not the worst.

my wife and i have just spent eleven days at corralejo sands hotel on a half board basis . A fabulous hotel that met all of our needs to a very high standard. we will be booking again soon.

Had a fantastic time in September for our 25th wedding anniversary holiday we got free cava and cake in our room when we arrived which was lovely had pool view which we did not pay for the room was lovely and clean breakfast good lunch was fantastic food buffet was lovely definitely go back but going to try another island next 5 mins to beach 2 mins to strip just loved everything about the hotel

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location. The rooms were very spacious, spotlessly clean, and beds extremely comfortable. We stayed for 7 nights on a bed and breakfast basis, as we enjoy dining out in the evenings. Lots of fab eating places which are walking distance. The lovely young girl in the entertainment team worked incredibly hard throughout our stay, keeping guests entertained and creating a great atmosphere around the pool with Aqua Yoga/Pilates and poolside games. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would definitely stay here again. We also had a hired car and were able to park on the street outside the hotel with no issues
