We enjoyed a lovely stay at this hotel, only thing I feel let it down was the evening buffet. We ended up eating out most nights. So if I was to return I would only stay bed and breakfast.

We stayed at this hotel as a family of 4 (our boys are 6 and 8). Overall we had a great experience, the food was excellent and the boys loved the buffet. There was a good variety every night and it didnt feel too repetitive. The restaurant never felt overcrowded and we weren't queuing even at busy times. The hotel was very clean and the main pool was very large, the smaller kids pool was OK but only one slide which didnt keep them amused for long. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is because there wasnt a huge amount to entertain the kids during the day. The kids club was focused on younger ones and the activities in the main pool were mainly focused on adults. There were a few things laid on during the week but we felt there could have been more. Overall a good hotel and an excellent location.

We recently stayed at this hotel and feel overall it was a good stay, however there are a number of things that we felt could have been improved. We arrived late in the evening, and the staff we welcoming and friendly. You get given a bracelet when you check in, which acts as your room key. The bracelet is not removable, so it has to be cut off when you have finished with it. We made our way to our room, and upon entering, we noticed a strange smell, just near the doorway, which remained for the duration of our stay. The room was a good size, but it was a bit rough around the edges. Through the duration of our stay, we noticed a few problems / issues with the room, such as: The USB socket was not working There is nowhere near enough storage or hangers for 4 people (although I know that nowhere ever really provides enough hangers in my experience) The toilet in our bathroom was a wall hung one, which had obviously been fitted incorrectly as it was loose and moved around. All the tiles behind it were cracked and it felt like playing toilet roulette every time we went to the loo, were you going to be the unlucky one! The shower tray, which I think they must have made out of yogurt pot materiel, was the thinnest shower tray ever and moved up and down, and due to it being so thin, flooded the bathroom whenever someone had a shower. One of the worst parts of the room was the stupid window between the shower and the bedroom. God knows who thought this was a good idea. Every time someone went to the toilet in the night, the wonderful round cut out would illuminate the whole room like the sun had just come out. The sofa bed in the other room was also awful. I don't even know why they can't just put another double bed in there; no one is folding up the sofa bed to sit and watch TV in there. They wouldn't be able to hear the TV over the squeaking of the bed anyway. There is no door on the room so you can hear every noise in the other room. There was damp on most of the walls and the paint had blown off in various places. Everyone is given 2 chairs on their balcony or terrace, but there was 4 of us, which meant that 2 people couldn't sit outside with the other 2. The exchanging of pool towels is also a crazy process. You have to go with your towels to reception to get given a card for each towel, which you then take to the lifeguard to exchange for new towels. What a stupid, pointless system. We only discovered this a few days after we had just been changing them without a card when the lifeguard told us. We asked him why and he seemed as puzzled as us by the set up. You also have to pay for the safety deposit box, 3 euros a day and a 10-euro deposit. The sunbeds were not too bad to get during the morning. The have a rope over the pool area which they open at 9am. some days there would be a stampede of people and the beds would be gone in minutes, other days you could get a bed any time. It did get quite loud and noisy around the pool; with the entertainment and the general music they played when the entertainment wasn’t on. I feel like I have been quite down on this place, but it did have some redeeming features. The staff were always friendly and knowledgeable and quickly rectified the issue we had with our hairdryer not working The air con in the rooms was fantastic The location of the hotel is brilliant The food was lovely and offered a good selection (we went half board) and they did a variety of different themed nights which runs on a 7-day rotation The drinks service with the evening meal was quick and easy. Overall, I feel that this was a good place to stay but it is definitely in need of some maintenance.

For the non-fussy members of the family, the food variety was great although the themed nights rotate weekly so you may have the same options again if you are there for more than 7 days. Even though there was plain salad, chips, plain pasta, pizza - the fussy members of the family did not eat very much :( For breakfast, there was something for everyone. We went all inclusive to give the kids flexibility so they had a lot of chips/burgers/pizza/onion rings from the lunch cabinet in the pool bar - this suited them and they were able to help themselves. Rooms were big and comfortable although the sofa bed was too hard for the kids - we did request a mattress topper which was provided (although it had a weird scratchy top so we used the spare duvets to cover that) Guests do put towels down on sunbeds from 9am but we did managed to get them, even if it was around the kids pool - this was fine as it was not far to the large pool and actually pretty peaceful. The bar in the evening was nice but service was slow, probably not enough staff - could it have been to reduce the no. of all inclusive drinks provided? maybe.... Good location - 10 mins walk to aqua park in one direction, 10 mins to Corralejo centre the other - lots of shops, bars and restaurants to look at on the way.
