Barcelo Corralejo Sands

Had a fabulous 10 days at the Sands. Stayed here many times and noticed the upgrades to various parts of the hotel. Internet connection is so much better, the place has been repainted, the gardens look lovely and colourful and reception has definitely been updated and looks great. The reception staff are excellent, so helpful, friendly and informative. The new restaurant manager is great, very hard working and will go out of his way to explain different foods to you. The entertainment team are great, hubby loved the darts and axe throwing. The beds are soooooo comfortable. The whole place has such a good vibe. Be back in January. The Hobarts xxxxxx

What an amazing holiday at Barcelo Sands. We were a family of 8 ranging from 26 to 85 and all loved it. Great hotel, fab food and really good animation team, we had such a laugh and they were great at getting everyone involved whatever the age. Also if you get the chance so the cocktail making class with Lucait was informative and fun. Lastly the night my entertainment was great for those not wanting to venture out into Correlejo. It's our 2nd time at the hotel and wouldn't hesitate to go again. Thanks to all the staff for making it so memorable.

My husband and I stayed in September and loved our stay. This is the first year that my husband has had mobility issues and now walks short distances with walking sticks but also uses a wheelchair and we were nervous about going on holiday but we needn't have worried. Our ground floor pool view suite was perfect as was easily large enough to manoeuvre the wheelchair, the shower was a large walk in with a grab rail and the hotel had arranged a shower seat. We were all inclusive and I was pleasantly surprised with the choice and quality of the cocktails. The food in the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner was what you expect in an all inclusive hotel, with lots of choice each day, but what we particularly liked was the lunch option which is table service and served in the bar and which you order from a menu and is served between 12:30 and 16:00 (I think), the food at lunch was good and the extended service time was great for flexibility. For all inclusive guests there are also a selection of self service hot and cold snacks. The entertainment team (Safy and Ago) were friendly and enthusiastic and worked really hard to get guests involved. I have never really done any activities before on holiday but after a little persuading from them in a not pushy way I did aqua stretch\yoga and aqua gym most days of our 2 week stay. The evening entertainment, which was different every night we were here was also good. Overall we loved our stay and having always said we wouldn't go back the same place twice we are hoping to come back again next year.

The hotel was an average 4 star. The rooms were big we had a 6 month old baby so the hot tub and sunbed loungers on the balcony were an added bonus whilst the baby slept. We went half board and the food was a bit bland in the evening. Not the best barcelo we’ve stayed in but not the worst.

my wife and i have just spent eleven days at corralejo sands hotel on a half board basis . A fabulous hotel that met all of our needs to a very high standard. we will be booking again soon.
