Start positives, room fantastic we had a hot tub room it was lovely although bare in mind sink is in bedroom so if like me u get up early to go to the gym you are disturbing the other person in the room. Liked the pool area and snacks bar although I think toilets are few and far between. Went to marina are that was nice. Went to rodizio tonight, Sebastian was a great host but the rest left a lot to be desired, got our first slice of meat but the next slice came more than 20 minutes after ! How can anyone eat like that, would not recommend, so much so we left after half an hour, shame was really looking forward to it.

We have stayed at the Barcelo for many years and if we are not in a villa then we will be staying here. The hotel we able to uphold our request to have a room near our already arrived family. This was great. A ground floor room facing the adult (unheated) pool. The room was clean and had what we needed. We are Special Guests and should have water in our rooms everyday. Unfortunately this didn’t happen bit it was easy enough to get bottles at the bar at the end of the evening. Our room was missed cleaning on one day so we just made sure to out tje clean me sign on the door each day after and it was always cleaned with fresh towels when we needed them. Thanks to Abenchara who did a great job in our room. There is a mini fridge in the room which unless you are a Unique guest is not stocked. Not a problem as drinks are always available from the pool bar or reception bar. The food was very good. Lots of choices day and night. Peak times for dinner were normally 7:30 where a queuing system was in place. Outside the hotel are plenty of gift shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is your backdoor. Good value for money as always. Entertainment was entertaining and all in all another lovely week here. We are booked to return in June 2027!

Opted for a deluxe room and so were premium AI and we had a fantastic holiday! The location of the hotel is brilliant- not too far from the airport, right on top of the beach and a short walk to shops and amenities- absolutely ideal as a family with 2 young children. A great choice and variety of food each day, even for my children who can be pickier eaters, and we appreciated having some additional options in the premium section as well as the options from the main buffet area. Service was generally great too. The room was cleaned almost daily, bed sheets were changed twice in our week long stay and when we asked for new sets of towels for the room and for the beach, that was no trouble. The room was a little tired in places, but we were more than happy with it as we don’t spend too much time there and it was only minor things like some peeling paint, a chipped sink etc. The bed was really comfortable and my children slept well on the pull out sofa bed too. My son particularly loved that one of the pools was heated, which hasn’t been the case in many of the hotels we have stayed at in Fuerteventura, so the children could play and swim for longer without getting too cold. There was some noise (music and live singing) from a neighbouring bar/hotel which was going on fairly late each evening, but it wasn’t to a level that it stopped any of us sleeping- though I can imagine it could be a nuisance if you are a light sleeper or have trouble getting to sleep. More than happy to spend a little more money for the experience we had, and feel reassured that it’ll be worth the money when we return again next year! Would absolutely recommend!

We visited in August and back for another visit in November for a bit of winter sun. We love how relaxed and friendly it is . From the personal touch from Valerie who cleans the room to the wonderful friendly bar staff and restaurant staff, all made our stay a great experience. The food was just excellent yet again: a wide selection, lots of meats and fish and great salad options - spoilt for choice . The weather was perfect and so was the hotel .

Lovely hotel - great service from very helpful staff. Lots to do. Highly recommend and would visit again!
