BLUESEA Golden Beach

The location is nice but isolated 5minute walk from the beach is nice however the staff are cold and quite rude. On one of the days I had fainted only one staff member came and asked if I was okay after walked away with nothing else to offer other than a hot towel. The rooms are spacious and very nice the cleanliness is at a high standard that is very good. Food wise it’s just the same thing every day on rotation from lunch to dinner they do the same weekly rotation keep some money to go out for dinner. The only day entertainer that is here is very lovely and a nice man he tried extremely hard to get everyone involved and interacted throughout the holiday he is very funny and entertaining he may need another person to help. My boyfriend cut his foot in the pool due to many many lose tiles he was bleeding a lot the lifeguard didn’t even notice when we asked for first aid they gave us a plaster no one acknowledged it. The drinks are extremely weak drinking all day and not even tipsy for an inclusive hotel they should be stronger. The evening entertainment is again on a weekly rotation the only good night was the entertainer hosting karaoke which was on hoping the audience interacts which they didn’t apart from 2 people and the entertainer himself. Other than aircon in ur rooms I feel aircon should be being used through the food court and the bar.

Pretty poor hotel ive just spent 2 weeks at this hotel .. I must say I read the reviews before booking it and the definitely must be fake .. All inclusive food was horrendous breakfast the chef could even cook a egg without burning it beyond recognition every meal time food was either bland or cold absolute shame really ... Pool was dirty and tiles lifting with little black bits floating in the pool... Evening entertainment was only on for 40 minutes long each evening .. I mean you sit down get comfortable and its all ready over 😏.... The view from our room was like a scrap yard .. Don't believe the photos on the website definitely run down they show great photos on the website as you will definitely be disappointed No entertainment in the daytime The rooms are cleaned very professional with lovely cleaners. I booked this holiday looked at all the great reviews but they definitely must be fake reviews please don't waste your hard earned money

We are here now myself and my son and sadly it’s our last couple of nights and It’s been fantastic. I came in may and loved it so much i came back to celebrate my sons exam results. The staff are friendly, helpful. The room ( the whole hotel) is spotless the cleaners do an amazing job daily and always smiling. Plenty of choice at meal times and fish/meat cooked fresh at a station with a lovely gentleman who serves you and the smell is amazing. There is different meat/fish/soup/ mixed salads ( chefs special salad is lovely) served each night just your basic salads and pizza stays the same which is great if you have little ones. We have a swim up pool which is well worth the bit more but the main pool is nice and so clean, not to deep for kids and there is a friendly life guard during the day who always says hello. Iv seen reviews on the beds ours are fine a bit firm but not caused us any problems, they don’t move the wheels are locked extra pillows you just need to ask and they deliver. DJ or music around the pool during the day. Drinks are also very reasonable for pricing at dinner if you are not all inclusive 4euros for a beer and coke with dinner served to you table again by smiling staff I really can’t fault the hotel. There are local shops and a small shop in the hotel for any bits you may have forgotten. The gym is just a bonus it’s not massive but has what you need for a good work out my son has been using this every day which is at no extra charge. Tennis rackets and balls just ask reception. We are sad to be leaving but will be back so relaxing and a chilled atmosphere. As a female I feel very safe here to walk about alone. Thank you for another amazing stay.

Not the experience we hoped for! Rooms- we had a swim up room which was ok but definitely not worth the money. One mirror in the whole room so could only get ready in the bathroom. Beds were ok but always felt a bit damp?! Shower was fine. Just needs a bit of tlc. Food- really was so repetitive and not great choice. Same served for lunch and dinner - pasta, pizza, paella and bit of fish or chicken. Was really bored of it by day 4 so ended up trying to find a restaurant near by in the end and got salad bowls from the supermarket. Drinks weren’t great either, pre made cocktails that had hardly any alcohol in. The bar in the evening was slightly better but only if the bar staff fancied you. Then was completely the opposite with 7/8 of vodka and 1/8 of lemonade! Snack bar- wasn’t a snack bar like you think. I have been to all inclusive so many times and have never just had a little choice random chicken nuggets stick to a piece of bread. Can’t order any food, was just pre made and kept in a hot plate at the pool bar. Weird. Staff males were creepy and made us feel uncomfortable, so much so this also made us not want to eat in the restaurant or go for drinks at the bar. The whole hotel says it was refurbished in 2023 but I don’t think much has changed in 30 years. Grubby and not what I had in mind for my holiday. The location- very boring, little to no shops and a couple of restaurants to choose from. Needless to say we won’t be returning and would be happy to go back to my 2 star in Kefalonia compared to this.

Arrived at the hotel late at night, initially the room seemed good until we started to use items in the room, the beds were poor quality with broken legs and slid when you got on them, the draw was broken on the dresser, the bathroom floor was all warped from water damage, the draws on the sink unit was in shocking condition. We woke up for our first morning to be greeted with the fact our neighbours had been broken into, whilst they were sleeping in bed. The hotel’s response was shocking and uncompassionate, we spoke to reception and explained my partner was heavily pregnant and we would prefer an alternative room to ease the stress and worry, the women behind reception was exceptionally rude and offered us an extra pillow to help her sleep better. We ended up in the same room for the duration of our stay and had to put something infront of our door each night. One thing we found strange was we kept finding our window closed but unlocked when we returned to the room in the late afternoons. Later in the week we realised one morning there was damaging around our door frame which looked inline with someone trying to enter our room. The food and drinks was poor, i have stayed in 2 star hotels with much better food. Drinks are very limited and service can be very slow, on some evenings one member of staff would be severing and another would be just walking around appearing to do minimal. Main bar on an evening, the service wasn’t great 1 member of staff on most of the time for the main complex bar, wait times were long. Often served drinks in miss matched glasses, for example amaretto and coke in a wine glass, when asked for an alternative glass I was told they are short of glasses. Entertainment every night but this was only for about 40-50 minutes. The pool is in poor condition, lots of black mould on the grout which is flaking off into the pool. Lots of loose and lifted tiles, overall the pool and its surrounding is in dyer need of maintenance. There is activities on throughout the day but all the prizes are cava, which isn’t good for children or guests which don’t drink. Lifeguard sat in the corner on his phone for the majority of the day, if he couldn’t see anything for being on his phone he almost certainly won’t of in his daily blind spot where he was sat. Side note, no easyJet reps throughout our stay. On a positive most of the staff were positive and the housekeeping team do a really good job, only negative about staff would be not to talk about us in Spanish disrespectfully expecting us to not understand Spanish.
