This hotel gave us the best bedroom access ever to a private patio with poolside view. A few steps to loungers and pretty palm tree surrounds. We’re in our late 70s and this easy access to the pool area, bar and restaurant, made our holiday relaxing and enjoyable. The hotel is very clean and the staff pleasant, helpful, and extremely hardworking. The other guests were largely Spanish, a few Germans, and a good number English. Everybody was polite, and there were no sunbed wars. Beds for everyone mainly, I think, because younger people headed for the nearby beaches. The beaches are large, sandy and beautiful, but with no beds and no shade. Not good for older people. No promenade either. We missed not having an accessible seaside walk. However we saw boardwalks underway near the new harbour, in front of the El Roque Restaurant. (See photos). In front of Coral Beach Hotel and other upmarket apartments, they are building a monstrosity of a huge hotel complex, which will dwarf the area and spoil the natural beach outlooks.(See photo). Finally, we liked the hotel. The half board food was middling. Sometimes delicious and appealing, but sometimes recycled into salads or fish that was dressed to look different. Wednesday for us was the worst, with dry roast pork leg. No suitable sauce, and lots of soggy vegetables. Maybe the chef’s night off. Other nights we really enjoyed the food. And breakfast was all you could wish. No overcrowding in the spotless restaurant. Many ate out in the abundant nearby food places. The local bus no 8 to Corralejo goes from behind the hotel at 11am. Don’t miss the bus back at 3.30, although there are others, they’re not frequent and take differing routes. You’re a bit cut off without a car at El Cotillo as taxis cost €60 each way to/from Corralejo. There’s nowhere else to go if you don’t want to sit all day sunning yourself.
We've stayed here on a few occasions and it never disappoints. The staff are welcoming and professional, breakfast is great. The rooms are spotless, and the hotel is quiet and calm, which makes for a really restful stay. Highly recommend!
Great hotel, great staff, great atmosphere and great room. Housekeeping were lovely, bar staff super friendly and pool sooo clean. Would definitely return
Hotel was excellent, rooms and facilities were all first class with all things included instead of having to pay for services, great location and I would recommend this place to anybody
Lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff, everything very clean. Nice pool area and bar. Good choice of food in the restaurant. Good location for beaches and there’s a handy supermarket in the same block! Very pretty port area a short walk away with gift shops and fantastic fish restaurants. Lots of surfers about and motorhomes. Quiet and relaxing break! Note building work going on in this area!
