Hotel Drago Park by Pierre & Vacances

I booked this hotel as Tui advised it was coeliac friendly but I'm afraid to say it was not. I asked in the restaurant for the gluten free options and was given a bread roll and a pack of 2 chocolate muffins and that was the extent of their options. So I went to the spar and bought some gluten free cereal for breakfast and had to make do with salad and grilled fish or chicken for all my other meals. They didn't offer any gluten friendly drinks at the bar either, so my options for drinks was very limited. With regards the hotel itself, it definitely was not 4*. The reception on arrival was lovely and was 4* but that's where it ended. Our room was a terrace room so was infested with ants and it had a permanent smell of the sewers. The shower did not drain away properly and flooded the bathroom every time we used it. The mattresses were like sleeping on rocks and when we tried to watch the TV it lost signal permanently so was a waste of time. The hotel advertises free wi-fi but we could only get that if we were sat in the reception area. The pool was lovely but the sun loungers and umbrellas need replacing as most were broken. The only positive I can give was for the pool side entertainment team, they were brilliant and offered games like water polo and darts. They also had pilates and water aerobics for the guests and the lads that ran all these activities were really good and friendly. I would give this hotel a 2* rating at best.

Room fantastic! So spacious always cleaned, hotel was clean just looking a worn in places (sunbed, parasols and balinese beds) this is a simple cosmetic fix which i think they are very aware off and probably updating. Pool barman (sorry can not remember name) worked so hard and Matteo on reception absoulute credit to the company, animation team was nearly end of season but your energy and enthusiasm was perfect not pushy either. Food was nice sometimes repetitive but thats not a bad thing gives people there safe go to foods. Would definitely come here again, despite my two year old grandson confusing the drago tree logo with a broccoli 🥦

Wilson and the rest of the animation team have been absolutely amazing during our holiday. They are so enthusiastic and lots of fun, and really try to get people involved in the activities. We especially enjoyed the water polo and aqua gym!

Hotel Drago Park is both welcoming and lively. On the downside, the location is very remote. The rooms although very spacious and clean are outdated and in need of some modernisation. The pool area is really lovely and the water is always warm to swim or paddle. The evening entertainment I personally thought was poor. The service is friendly and overall this venue offers affordable value for money.
