TUI MAGIC LIFE Fuerteventura

The resort is fine, but please check and hold a TUI to account so you get the rooms you book, even in peak season. We booked a holiday as a family and were given 2 separate rooms - 6 rooms apart. This is ridiculous - others had the same issue with teenage children allocated to a different floor. I feel this was an error by TUI, but they offered no solution. No compensation. The Rep was not helpful, and the guest services told me to grab a mattress from the second room!!! I complained on site and on my return - and TUI are just apologetic - but actually they could have made a gesture towards the next holiday, as this massively failed on expectations. Entertainment for kids - younger kids fine - but 8+ it needs more. The Holiday Villages are much better! As for the entertainment, it's suitable for younger kids, but for those aged 8 and older, there need to be more options. The Holiday Villages provide a much better experience in this regard. Additionally, the à la carte restaurants were unavailable for booking, and the Curry House was closed during our stay, which seems odd given that we were told we were in peak season. We were advised that the best time to book these restaurants was at midnight. Surely, the allocation process could be improved. During peak season, the pool bar snack shack had only one staff member, resulting in long queues. We paid £3,800 for a one-week holiday for the 4 of us, yet it did not meet our expectations regarding our accommodations. Furthermore, on the way back, my 9-year-old son was seated next to a 12-year-old, which breaches the guidelines. with parents 18 rows back! This raises concerns that the booking system treats a 12-year-old as a responsible adult without considering his special needs.

Was in room we specifically didn't want as we had stayed here last March & room 12014 is very noisy as overlooks pool where there are lots of children!!!! So wasnt very peaceful sitting on the balcony/terrace. Admittedly we did get a sea view which we asked for & paid extra for but was on ground floor overlooking said pool. Hotel says they cannot change it at the moment but if we wish we can go on choose your room & pay extra again!!!! Also when you have a shower bathroom floods was told technician would come but still waiting after 1 hour!!!! Don't expect to have your room cleaned or towels changed on the 1st day as it does not happen!!!! You have been warned 😡

Extremely Disappointing Holiday Experience – Poor Service and Organisation Our holiday was a huge disappointment, particularly when it came to the room bookings, staff attitude and the overall standard of service across the resort. Room bookings for a family of four were poorly handled, creating unnecessary frustration from the outset. When booking a family holiday, you expect the accommodation arrangements to be organised properly and the experience to be straightforward. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The attitude of staff throughout the resort was another major concern. There was very little willingness to help, and when assistance was needed, the response was often unhelpful and lacked basic customer service. The behaviour and approach of some staff came across as naive, unprofessional and completely lacking in the understanding of what good hospitality should look like. Even the simple task of changing pool towels seemed too much for the member of staff in the resort shop. Whilst handing my towels over I was greeted with a grunt and a motion to put my dirty towels in the basket. I wasn’t even engaged with no smiling no enjoy your day. Not even asked how many towels I actually wanted so over the next couple of days I even lied to get more towels and again no effort to engage with me to ask how many i would actually like! The food service was equally disappointing. Staff appeared to have very little urgency when preparing food, even when faced with large queues of waiting holidaymakers. There was very little energy, enthusiasm or sense of urgency, leaving guests waiting far longer than should reasonably be expected. Despite the resort operating at approximately 98% capacity, the pool bar snack area appeared to have just one member of staff preparing food. This inevitably created long queues and unnecessary waiting times. What made the situation even more frustrating was the apparent lack of urgency to prepare food or replenish supplies. It genuinely felt as though guests were left waiting until staff decided they were ready to cook or restock, rather than staff working proactively to meet demand. There seemed to be little appreciation that families were on holiday and wanted to enjoy their time rather than spend it standing in queues waiting for basic food and refreshments. A resort operating at such high occupancy should anticipate demand and ensure adequate staffing levels, effective organisation and a reasonable standard of customer service. Instead, the experience felt poorly managed, understaffed and lacking in any real commitment to guest satisfaction. Overall, this holiday fell well below expectations. Poor room booking arrangements, unhelpful staff attitudes, a lack of urgency and inadequate food service significantly affected our experience as a family. There was little evidence of proactive management or a genuine desire to make guests feel welcome. I would strongly encourage the resort’s management to review its booking procedures, staff training, staffing levels and overall approach to customer service. Guests pay good money for a holiday and deserve to be treated with courtesy, efficiency and respect. Based on our experience, I would be very reluctant to recommend this resort to other families unless significant improvements are made.

We’ve had a fantastic experience! The food is fresh, delicious, and there’s so much choice. With multiple food stations offering everything from meat and fish to every carb you could wish for, as well as plenty of vegetarian options, there really is something for everyone. I especially loved the dedicated area with freshly washed fruit and healthy options, perfect for anyone heading straight from a workout or looking for something light and nutritious. The gym is huge and offers a fantastic variety of classes to suit all fitness levels and abilities, making it ideal for anyone who enjoys staying active while on holiday. There are also plenty of sunbeds, massive swimming pools, and water refill stations in every block, which is such a thoughtful touch and makes it easy to stay hydrated throughout the day. It’s also a brilliant resort for families, with something to suit everyone. The nearby town is within easy reach and offers plenty of restaurants if you fancy eating out, and there’s a supermarket just around the corner, which is really convenient. Overall, it’s a fantastic resort that combines great food, fitness, relaxation, and family-friendly facilities. Whether you want to keep active, unwind by the pool, or enjoy exploring the local area, there’s something for everyone. We will definitely be coming back!

Our 3rd trip to this hotel. I still can't fault it. The food, the drinks, the facilities, the staff, the entertainment all get 5 stars from us. Special shout outs go to tennis coach, Diogo. Our lovely lady who cleaned our room Silvena. Bar staff David and Guillermo. Guest services, Mary and Marton deserve a shout out too. We will definitely return.
