Bungalows Miraflor Suites

The positives are the place is beautiful. We stayed in the older bungalows that were dated but very clean and Spacious. The staff were great very friendly and accommodating. The food was good plenty of choice and a nice pool area… However, the biggest letdown was that the evening entertainment stopped at either 9.50pm or 10.00pm depending on the show. The shows were great but at 10.00 that’s it… I found this very disappointing for an all inclusive resort even if the entertainment went on until 11.00pm would be at least satisfactory. We wouldn’t be big drinkers or anything and I enjoy a rum and Coke in the evening, but the drinks were definitely watered down too much. I get that many all inclusive resorts water down alcohol, but most nights it felt like drinking flat coke.. and the all inclusive bar stops at 10.30 but you can purchase your own alcohol after that time. The animation team did they’re best with activities during the day and the kids disco and I know it wasn’t their fault for the evening entertainment so whoever is in charge of that might rethink as I personally would not return for that reason… we have teenagers and don’t like to venture out at night and more so paying for all inclusive.

Such a nice holiday I was worried cause people in reviews didn’t say it was good but it was so nice nice staff and animation team it’s a very relaxing place the evenings are nice they do something different every night although the food could be better since the hotel overall is good also I would recommend getting the newer rooms not bungalows as bungalows are good too but doors aren’t like properly secured so we had a gecko come in overalll such a lovely place definitely want to come back

2nd visit was just as good as the 1st! We came at new year and loved it! We hoped it would have same relaxed vibe in peak summer and it absolutely did! The staff and animation are so lovely ( we didn’t join in with any games but they were always lovely to chat to). The pool area is spotless and absolutely never any rush for sun loungers l! Available all day! Food is Lovely and enough choose and the dining areas again are so peaceful no clattering and tables always cleaned, never had to wait for a seat always plenty. We had asked for a room by the pool/bar and we were given 2108 absolutely perfect! Even a bottle of wine left for us! Already looking to return for a 3rd time. If you are like us and just want a lovely relaxing holiday, great food, rooms are lovely and large! Then please book here! You will not be disappointed!

We stayed in a superior bungalow whilst friends stayed in a standard bungalow. The only difference between the both was a face lift and better air-conditioning. The site is beautiful and clean with parakeets, peacocks and their babies, lizards and a friendly hotel cat that likes ham and cheese treats. The staff in most part are friendly and helpful. We didnt use the kids club but the animation team walked around and were friendly inclusive. The food choices were very limited and same old but was cooked well with nice flavour and well presented. The drinks are not watered down which made a change for other all inclusives. All in all a great hotel. Big bonus is hardly anyone gets up to get sunbeds, loads still available at lunch!! They need to change the pool rules!! The only thing you can do in the pools is swim. No balls, no floats, no throwing the kids about but the life guards are apologetic when telling you off for having fun. The entertainment on an evening was poor!! Karaoke and quiz nights were fun but the dancers weren't for us, and there were a few. Located close to restaurants and bars but we didnt like the atmosphere, probably better for couples and groups of friends, nothing really to keep young teens entertained. Ventured to the beach and offered sunglasses and drugs so if you want either thats the place to be. Very much a pride island, teenage boys found it awkward. We enjoyed our 12 days in the pretty grounds. The weather apps say 28°c but the street thermometers read 36 which felt more accurate. We came gran canaria as some of the kids didnt fancy the heat of turkey or Greece but they had it anyway.

Where do I start! A large family group ages 5 to 60plus! And we had 5 sta dard bungalows .. from arrival to leaving it was amazing! Dont get me wrong they could be upgraded and more modern but they are what you make it!! Animation team Ari, nachos, Carletos and paloma - you guys made our holiday days full of fun, laughter and mischief! You are the gems of this hotel ... never forget that! Thank you so so much for the banter.. (from papa bear!) And viking steveeee... Reception, room service, food and drink staff were all soo friendly and helpful! With a handy self service bar area - meaning hardly any queueing and super fast service! They always moved tables and made sure we sat as a family... and nothing it too much trouble.. Food was varied every night and even the most fussy eaters always found something they liked! We really had no complaints it was fantastic! And staff always so helpful if you are polite and ask.. Facilities - the bungalows were fab! Yeah dated but they are modernising the site ... all Self contained with your own little kitchen and coffee machine (spar round the corner for supplies) the rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels given.. housekeeping were kind, helpful and very trusting. The grounds and gardens are beautiful and very very well kept! With cats, peacocks, turtles and parroketes it was just fantastic to sit out in your own area and watch the sun rise and wildlife... yes there are ants and other bugs etc.. but thats to be expected! Due to where your visiting. Just let staff knkw and they will address very quickly!.... oh and the baby geckos were very friendly ❤️ Entertainment was varied and if your happy to get stuck in and have fun, your be laughing and clapping all evening. Lovely singers, dancers and a great quiz night!! The whole layout is easy to get around and very well set out! Close to loads of shops, beaches and buses to explore the island. My only one area of improvement would be the poolside - lifeguards dont really have the best location to watch all 3 pools. The drains around the pool and outside toilet blocked a few times and it was not the most pleasant smell! But we're fixed... to be fair its a large site and could probably do with being more robust. The pools themselves clean and well maintained.. the sun loungers need a good clean or replacing truth be told.. just minor tweeks! All in all this is the best place we have stayed on the island and we have visited alot!! .. we will be back! Well done team miraflor and a huge cornish thank you for making our 10 days amazing 👏 🤩
